Maddie’s P.O.V (Sorry there is a lot of Maddie’s P.O.V but I find it the best way to portray this.)

“On the beach,” Brooke said. “Oh right, have any of you had dinner?” She said taking off her shoes. “No we haven’t, we only got back about half an hour ago.” I told her. “Okay, I’ll make some,” She walked into the kitchen and saw Brooke’s laptop. It was still on the picture of me and Harry. “That’s such a nice picture,” She remarked. Harry looked at it and put Brooklyn on the floor. She crawled into the living room. He put his arms around my waist and kissed my head. “I would relive that day any day. It was the best day of my life, even better than when the boys and I were put into the band together.” I smiled because I knew how much that day meant to him. He got a text and let go of me to read it. “The boys are at a hotel near here and have collected Louis. Can they come round?” Harry asked. I looked at my mum. “Of course they can, the more people the better.” She said. Harry texted them back and went to sit on the couch. About 10 minutes later there was a knock on the door. I went and opened it. “Hey!!” Zayn and Niall shouted. “Hiya, come in.” I said. They walked inside and I saw Perrie and Danielle standing behind Liam and Louis. I ran to them and hugged them. “What are you guys doing here?” I asked. “Didn’t Harry tell you? We came over when we heard about El.” Perrie said. “No he didn’t tell me,” I replied. “Oh, he should have.” We all went inside and I shut the door. Mum came in and greeted them all before Brooke came to talk to Perrie and Dani. “Eleanor is coming home tomorrow, is it okay if she comes back here?” Louis said to me. “Yeah, you can stay as well, tonight and with El. We have a spare bedroom.” I told him. “Thanks,” He replied. “Anything for you two,” I said. Harry and I were snuggled up together on the couch and Niall was staring at us. It took us a while to realise why and then we moved apart. He misses Belle. Louis was confused about why we went from cuddling to different sides of the couch. He looked around and saw Niall looking down. I stood up and went to help mum in the kitchen. I was in there for a few minutes before Niall came in. “I’m sorry Maddie,” He said. “Why?” I asked knowing fully well why he was apologising. “For making you and Harry stop hugging, I just miss Belle.” He answered. “Its fine Niall, I understand. I wouldn’t even look at my mum or dad when Harry and I split up because it reminded me of him. We shouldn’t have done that in front of you.” I said. “You’re married, you can do whatever you like, I won’t get in the way anymore.” He looked down. “You aren’t anyway; Harry and I have been like that all day we don’t need to be now.” I reassured him. He gave in and went and sat back down. “What happened with him and Belle?” Mum asked. “They couldn’t handle the distance so they split up.” I explained. “Oh, that’s a shame; I really thought they were forever.” Mum sighed. “Me too,” I agreed. I went back into the living room and Liam and Dani were all curled up on the couch next to Zayn and Perrie. I saw something on Dani’s finger sparkle and looked at it again. There was a ring on it. Dani looked at me and laughed. “We wondered how long it would take you to notice.” Liam laughed. “You’re engaged?” I asked. “No, I borrowed one of Perrie’s rings to see how long it would take you, yes we’re engaged.” Dani said sarcastically. “Congratulations guys!” I ran over to them and hugged them. “Thanks Maddie,” They said. I sat back next to Harry and he put his arm around me and pulled me closer to him. I put my head into his chest and we all watched TV until dinner was ready. Faye came leaping down the stairs and was shocked when she saw everyone. “Perrie!!” She ran to her. Everyone laughed. “You guys have stolen my little sister from me,” I pouted. “What do you mean?” Zayn asked. “Before she met any of you she was always with me but when she met Harry, he replaced me and now when all of you are around she doesn’t even look at me twice.” I explained. “Ohh,” Louis said. “Sorry,” Harry added. “Don’t worry about it, I’m glad she gets on with you guys, anyway, Faye get off of Perrie! Dinner is ready.” I said. Faye hugged everyone and we all went into the kitchen and sat at the table. “Louis, are you staying here tonight?” Harry asked him. “Yeah, Eleanor told me I need to sleep in a bed.” He said. We ate dinner and I fed Brooklyn before taking her upstairs and putting her to bed. I came back down and we talked for a while before Zayn, Perrie, Dani, Liam and Niall went back to their hotel and Louis went up to the spare bedroom. Harry and I talked to my mum for a while before going to bed ourselves. I got my pyjamas and went to walk into the bathroom. “We’re married and have a child and you still can’t get changed in front of me? It’s not like I haven’t seen it before.” Harry said. “I know, but I don’t like getting changed in front of people babe,” I walked into the bathroom and got changed into my pyjamas. Harry was asleep when I heard someone go downstairs. I waited for a few minutes before I heard the back door close. I got out of bed and put my jacket on. I went downstairs and out the back door. I looked around the garden and there wasn’t anyone around. I decided to go out onto the beach. I had nothing on my feet so I ran down the path really quickly. I got to the gate and opened it. I looked out at the sea and the moon was reflecting on it. I walked out onto the beach and looked at the chairs. I could see the silhouette of someone but I couldn’t make out who it was. I walked towards them. It was Louis. I sat next to him. “Are you alright?” I asked him. “Yeah, I just can’t sleep. I’ve got so much to think about,” He explained. “I know, it must be hard, you’ll be an amazing dad though Louis,” I reassured him. “Thanks Maddie, that means a lot from you, you’re an amazing mum. I’m just worried that I’m going to have to go away and leave Eleanor with twins to look after. I love my job but I love Eleanor too and I will give up anything for her.” He said. “I try, I’ll help you and El out anytime, she won’t be on her own Lou, I promise.” We talked for ages before going back to bed. “You’re definitely gonna be godmother babe,” Louis said before I went back into my room. I kissed him on the cheek and went into my room. Harry woke up. “Is everything okay?” He asked. “Everything’s fine baby, go back to sleep,” I kissed him, took my jacket off and climbed back into bed. I fell asleep almost immediately. I woke up at about 10am and went downstairs. Louis was watching TV. I got some breakfast and ran to get dressed before taking Brooke’s keys off the side. “Come on, let’s go and get Eleanor.” I said writing out a note for Harry. ‘Louis and I have gone to get El, see you later, Brooklyn is in her crib still xxx’ Louis stood up and took one look at me before saying, “If Harry asks, I did not agree with you wearing that.” I laughed. “He’s not going to either but oh well. Everyone around here has seen pictures of me like this anyway, I used to be a model,” I reminded him. When we got to the hospital Eleanor was sitting on her bed waiting. “Hey, you ready?” Louis asked before kissing her. “Yeah, let’s go.” She replied getting off the bed. We walked back towards the car and Louis and El sat in the back together. “Where’s Harry?” El asked. “In bed, he’s tired.” I replied. “You didn’t, did you?” She said. “No, I wouldn’t do that in my parents’ house, especially not with Brooklyn in the same room and Faye next door.” I said. She laughed. We got back home and when we reached the front door we could hear Harry playing with Brooklyn. I unlocked it and walked inside with El and Louis behind me. Harry stood up and kissed El on the cheek before hugging me. “Nice top,” Harry looked at it. I laughed. Brooklyn started to crawl into the kitchen so I grabbed her and picked her up. We had been talking for about 10 minutes before there was a knock at the door. I opened it and Matt was standing there. I went outside and shut the door. “What are you doing here?” I snapped. “I came to see you, I’ve missed you.” He replied. “I don’t care Matt, we’re just friends. In case you’ve forgotten, I’m married and have a baby to look after.” I reminded him. “Yeah, but you don’t love Harry.” He said. I saw Louis at the window and told him to get Harry to come outside. Harry opened the door and walked out. “What is he doing here?” He asked. “Being an idiot,” I said before making out with Harry. I stopped and turned to Matt. “You don’t believe I love him?” I put my hand out. “These rings say I do, now get lost. I don’t want to see you around here again.” I said before going inside. Harry didn’t follow me so I looked out of the window to see what he was doing. “Don’t come near my wife or daughter again. Are we clear?” Harry shouted at Matt. Louis and Eleanor came to the window as well. “Whatever, she’ll realise she’s made a mistake soon enough and tell me she wants me. Maddie doesn’t love you.” Matt argued. “No, she doesn’t love me. That’s why she’s got a child with me and is married to me.” Harry replied. “She’s just using you for kids. She’s always wanted kids and then she found you and thought you’d be the perfect person to fool into having kids with her.” Matt said. Harry stepped back. “Then why marry me? Why not just get pregnant and leave? She’s got enough money to look after the kids.” He said. “Because she had to make it look believable.” Matt said. He’d cooked up this little plan all by himself. “Then why does she talk to all my mates and not totally ignore them when I’m not around? You’re pathetic. She’s my wife now back off.” Harry spat. The van pulled up outside and Zayn, Liam, Niall, Perrie and Dani jumped out. “Call in back up did you?” Matt said. “What’s he doing here?” Zayn said. Perrie tried to hold him back but he went to join Harry. I went to the door. “Guys come in, Matt isn’t worth it.” I shouted down the path. “Stay away from all of us.” Harry said to Matt before turning and walking towards the house. Everyone came in and I shut the door. Harry went out into the garden and I decided to let him calm down for a bit before going outside. I sat on his lap. “What he said isn’t true is it?” Harry said. “Of course it isn’t babe, Brooklyn wasn’t planned remember. I love you Harry Styles and I always will.” I reassured him. He kissed me and Niall walked outside. We pulled apart and turned to look at him. He just walked back inside. He probably left to get away from the couples and then saw us. It must be really hard for him. I stood up and walked inside holding Harry’s hand. Niall was sitting at the kitchen table and I pushed Harry into the living room. I sat next to Niall. “It’s hard isn’t it?” I said. “Really hard, especially when you’re surrounded by couples.” He answered. “I know, why do you think I stayed over here when me and Harry split, I couldn’t face any of you. I was looking at divorces Niall. That was before Louis and Eleanor told me I was being stupid. I had changed so much in that month and it hurt when I couldn’t even look at my baby. You know, Belle misses you too Niall.” I told him. “Yeah but I bet you told her to forget about me.” He said. “Why would I do that? You’re one of my best friends and so is she. It’s gonna be pretty awkward if you hate each other.” I replied. He half-smiled, “I really miss her Maddie. Every time I see a couple I’m reminded of her and seeing as I’m surrounded by them she’s constantly on my mind, I miss her so much.” He confined in me. “Call her, talk to her. Work it out Niall. You two adore each other and look at the rest of us. We manage to cope with the distance. Harry has a child and Louis has a pregnant girlfriend and we’re all still together. It was going to be tough, you knew that when you got together. If anything, the distance just teaches you that you need to enjoy the time you get together when you can. I guess with Belle working you didn’t really get much time together but you need to make time.” I said. “It’s easier for you guys, you all have a commitment. Liam’s engaged; Zayn’s married, Louis has kids on the way, Harry has Brooklyn, what do me and Belle have? We don’t have anything.” Niall sighed. “You have love and that’s all you need. Call her Niall,” I stood up and walked into the living room. Everyone stopped talking when I came through the door. “What were you talking about?” I asked curiously. “You. How you’re a great mum to Brooklyn, an amazing wife, best friend and sister. How you always take time out of your own life to help others, you’re like an angel.” Perrie said. I laughed and sat on the floor between Harry’s legs. “I think you’re exaggerating a bit there,” I replied. “We aren’t. You’re amazing.” Eleanor disagreed with me. I started to blush. “Oh and we were talking about your messed up accent and trying to work out if Belle had one too. She’s managed to keep her American but your accent is just fucked up.” Louis chuckled. Everyone laughed. “Thanks Louis,” I said. “Umm, Harry.” Liam looked at him. I turned around and saw him grab a cushion to cover up his boner. I laughed. “I can’t help it, she turns me on.” He defended himself. Everyone laughed. “God, all I’m doing is sitting between your legs!” I exclaimed. “Exactly,” He said. We joked about it for a few minutes before he walked upstairs. I sat in his seat. “You know what he’s going to do now don’t you?” Louis looked at me. “Shut up Louis,” I stopped him. I picked up Brooklyn off the floor and started to play with her on my lap. The others all talked for a while and Niall came back in with his phone in his hand. I turned to him. “How did it go?” I asked him. “She didn’t want to hear it. Said that she can’t handle me being away all the time so there isn’t any point in us being together.” He said quietly. I handed Brooklyn to Perrie who was sitting next to me and went to hug him. “She’s stupid sometimes. She’ll see sense soon,” I said. He hugged me again and sat down next to Liam and Dani. Harry came back downstairs and I sat down quickly. “Enjoy that Haz?” Louis teased. “Yeah I did actually.” He replied. He pulled me up and sat down where I was sitting. “For God sake don’t sit in between his legs again.” Dani said. I laughed and sat on his lap. “Much better, at least now you can cover it up.” Zayn laughed. We talked for a while before we heard the girls chatting outside. The key turned in the lock and Brooke and Faye came in. “You’re back!” Faye ran to Eleanor. Harry laughed. “How was school?” I asked Brooke. “Tyler just wound me up,” She said. “He was here yesterday but I told him to go away.” I told her. “Thanks, I’ve got homework to do,” She said before walking upstairs. Faye sat next to Eleanor and Louis and we continued to talk. I went upstairs to see if Brooke was okay. I went into her bedroom and she was sitting on her bed looking at photos again. She was going through the same folder as yesterday. There were loads and loads of different pictures of me and Harry. I sat next to her and she lent on me. We went through pictures for about half an hour before Harry came upstairs to put Brooklyn in her crib. I left Brooke by herself and went into my bedroom. I shut the door and Harry pushed me against it. “Calm down!” I said. He started to kiss me before moving his head down and sucking my neck. That’s going to leave a mark. I pushed him off me and kissed him before getting a hoodie to cover up the marks. I went back downstairs holding Harry’s hand and Louis looked at me suspiciously. I let go of Harry and went into the kitchen. I had been in there for about 2 minutes before Louis walked in. “Why the hoodie?” He asked. “No reason,” I lied. He pulled the hood down and looked at my neck. “Ah, I get it.” He laughed. He walked back into the living room and shouted, “Maddie’s got love bites!” before sitting next to Eleanor again. I laughed and then heard Faye say, “What are love bites?” I walked quickly into the living room and put my hand over Louis’ mouth before he could tell her. “She’s 8.” I reminded him. He pulled my hand away and I went back into the kitchen.
