Harry’s P.O.V
“What did she say?” Zayn asked when I locked my phone. “Nothing really, she just got pissed with me.” I told him. “Oh right, did she hang up?” “Yeah, she said forget it and then hung up.” I answered. “Oh…” He said before walking back towards Niall. Niall and Belle broke up because of the distance. They’ve been together for ages but they just couldn’t handle it anymore. That’s just how it is sometimes. It’s getting late here so I decided to go back to my hotel room. I’m no use here. I went back and got into bed and went to sleep. When I woke up it was 9am and time to get ready for our rehearsals. I got dressed and went next door to Louis’ apartment where everyone was meeting. I was the first one there. “What are we going to do about Niall?” I asked Louis. “Don’t worry, he already said that he isn’t going to let this get the better of him and his job.” Louis replied. “Okay, that’s good.” I said. The other boys arrived and we went downstairs and got into the van. “How you feeling Niall?” Zayn sat next to him. “Alright I guess. Probably better than Belle.” He said. I decided to text Maddie.

We argued over the phone yesterday because of Belle and Niall’s break-up. My phone buzzed.

It’s okay, I love you too, she’s better today, what about Niall?xx
I smiled and typed my reply.

He’s better too, determined not to let it get in the way of work xx
I sent it and continued to talk with the boys until we got to the stadium. “Niall, what happened?” Kylie asked when we walked in. “I split with Belle okay, I don’t want to talk about it.” He said walking over to get his microphone. We followed after him and went out onto the stage to rehearse. We rehearsed for a few hours before getting ready for the concert. I talked to Lou about Lux and Brooklyn whilst she did my hair and then went to get my clothes sorted out. By the time we were all ready it was nearly time to go on. 5 Seconds Of Summer were just finishing their last song and then we were on. The 5SOS boys ran off the stage and we waited for our cue. “Ready boys, have fun!” Paul said as we ran out to all the screaming girls. “Hello California!!” Louis shouted. They all screamed. “How about we give it up for 5 Seconds Of Summer!” I shouted clapping. They all clapped and cheered before we started to sing ‘Best Song Ever’. They sang along and we enjoyed it. Niall even had a massive smile on his face. Maybe it was fake, I don’t know. We performed a load more songs and did some speeches before the end. It was a great concert. We have a day off in California tomorrow and it’s just a shame that Maddie isn’t going to be over here.
Maddie’s P.O.V
We just landed in California and I saw a poster for One Direction’s performance, tonight. They’re here! I pushed the stroller through the airport to get to the exit. Brooke is picking us up. I saw my blonde little sister standing by her car. I walked over to her and El followed after me. “Hey gorgeous, where’s Faye?” I asked her. “At home, she’ll be right by the door ready to greet you!” She answered. I laughed and put our luggage in the car before putting Brooklyn in. El got in next to Brooklyn and I sat in the passenger seat. “Have you heard that they’re performing here tonight?” Brooke said referring to the boys. “Yeah, I saw a poster. Isn’t it at the stadium we used to go to all the time?” I replied. “Yeah, do you wanna drop by?” She continued. “Yeah okay, let’s go.” The stadium is on the way anyway. We left Brooke with Brooklyn in the car and went towards the stadium. A load of girls surrounded us. “Eleanor! Maddie! You’re here!” They shouted. “Yeah, for one night, can we have some privacy please?” Eleanor responded. “Sorry,” They backed off. We walked towards the door. It was locked. “We must have missed them.” I looked down. She looked disappointed too. We walked back to the car and Brooke drove us home. We got back and sure enough, Faye was sitting by the door waiting to see us. She ran to me and hugged me before hugging Eleanor too. I moved into the kitchen and Mum and Dad were sitting at the table talking. They stood up when I walked in. “Welcome home Maddie.” Mum hugged me. Dad hugged me as well and Eleanor came into the kitchen holding Brooklyn. “Hello beautiful!” Dad said taking Brooklyn from her. Mum hugged Eleanor and we all sat down at the kitchen table. Brooke went to her room. “Where’s she gone?” I questioned. “To call her boyfriend probably,” Mum sighed. “What’s so bad about that?” I said. “He’s not good for her. We don’t like him.” She answered. “Oh, do you want me to talk to her?” I asked. “Another day, not now.” Dad said. We talked for a while and then Eleanor and I went up to my bedroom. “Do you want to go shopping tomorrow with my old friend?” I queried after reading a text from my best friend from high school, Matthew. “Yeah okay, sounds good.” She replied. I smiled and grabbed some pyjamas out of my suitcase. I went into the bathroom and showered and changed into them. We went to sleep.
Mum woke me and Eleanor up at 9am and I got ready for going out today. We are meeting Matthew at the mall. At about 10 am we were ready and Brooke let me borrow her car to drive to the mall. We walked towards Starbucks, where we had agreed to meet Matthew. I saw him standing outside and walked over to him pushing the stroller. “Maddie!” He hugged me. “I haven’t seen you in ages, since you left for University over a year ago!” He continued. “Hi Matt, this is my best friend Eleanor.” I told him. He hugged her and we walked towards the shops. “Are you sure you’ve had a baby?” Matt asked looking at my flat stomach. “Yeah, and I have the evidence to prove it.” I looked at the stroller which Eleanor was pushing. “You left for University not to get married and have a baby!” He laughed. “Yeah, but then I met Harry. I’m just on a gap year from Uni.” I told him. “Are you going to come back to California after you’ve finished or stay in the UK?” He questioned. “Probably stay in the UK, all my best friends apart from you live over there.” I answered. “Oh right, maybe I should move.” He replied. “Yeah, you could!” I laughed. Brooklyn started to cry so I took her out of the stroller. “Can I hold her?” Matt asked when she had quietened down. “Yeah of course,” I passed her to him. “How come you didn’t go to Maddie’s wedding then Matt?” Eleanor pondered. “She invited me but I know that Harry is quite over-protective of her so I didn’t want to ruin it.” He answered her. “Oh right, Maddie, you never talk about him.” She turned to me. “Yeah, because Harry is always around, if he was here now, he’d jump to the wrong conclusion wouldn’t he, you know Harry!” I explained. “I guess…” I took the stroller off of her and we continued to walk round the shops.
Harry’s P.O.V
“Is that Eleanor and Maddie?” Louis asked when we were walking round the mall. I looked over. Maddie was wearing hardly anything and there was a guy with them holding Brooklyn. Maddie was laughing around with him whilst pushing the stroller. I stormed out of the mall.
Louis’ P.O.V
I walked over to Eleanor and covered her eyes, “Guess who!” I whispered. “Louis!” She shouted turning around. We kissed and then I turned to Maddie. “Where’s Harry?” Maddie asked. I turned around to look for him. “I don’t know, he must have left,” I replied. “Oh great, I told you,” She looked at El. “Told her what?” I questioned. “That if Harry was here he’d get the wrong impression. We’re just friends!” She explained. “I think it was probably more your dress choice that got to him.” I looked at her. She looked down at her clothes. “For god sake. He needs to get over himself, he doesn’t own me.” She said. The other boys came to join us and the girls greeted them. “Who’s this?” Zayn asked looking at her friend. “I’m Matt, Maddie’s best friend from high school.” He said. “Oh right, nice to meet you.” Zayn shook his hand. “Where did Harry go?” Maddie asked the others. “He stormed out when he saw you guys,” Liam answered. “Why?” Maddie said. “Because you looked so cosy, you’re HIS wife Maddie. You wouldn’t like it if you saw him with another girl with her holding Brooklyn would you?” Niall joined in. “Matt is just my friend! Harry doesn’t own me, I am allowed a life!” Maddie argued. “He kinda does own you, you’re married to him. Then he sees you with another guy playing happy families wearing hardly anything, what do you expect, him to be okay with it? Harry gets jealous Maddie. He loves you.” I told her. “I know he does, I love him too but he gets female attention all the time and linked to so many other girls but you don’t see me storming out all the time. I have friends, he needs to deal with it.” She walked off. El turned to me. “Wow. She’s really pissed.” El said. I laughed. “Yeah she is, Harry was right to walk out though, I’d do the same thing if I saw you doing what she was doing.” I replied. “Yeah I know, she wouldn’t cheat though,” El defended her. Matt followed after Maddie. “To be honest, I’m not sure I believe that,” Liam said. “She looked pretty cosy with him.” Niall agreed. “She wouldn’t, would she?” Zayn questioned. “I don’t know, let’s go and find Harry, come on El. Leave Maddie and Matt to be by themselves.” I said. We all walked out of the mall and started to look for Harry. We found him sitting in the van. “Mate, come on. He’s just her friend.” I sat next to him. “What did she say?” He asked. “She was pissed off that you stormed out. She kept saying that you don’t own her and you need to get over yourself but she’ll calm down.” Zayn said. Harry got out of the van and I followed after him. He walked back into the mall with us behind him. I knew he was looking for Maddie. He wanted to tell her that she’s his wife and no one else’s. I saw her hugging Matt on the other side of the mall and nudged Eleanor. “Should we tell him?” I whispered. “No, if that’s how she wants to play it then let her. She’s just being a bitch today.” El whispered back. Harry looked over and saw her. He started to storm off towards her and I ran after him leaving Eleanor with the boys. “Harry, don’t.” I grabbed his jacket. Maddie leaned up to kiss Matt just as Harry reached them. “Maddie!” He shouted. She looked at him. “Harry.” She said realising what she’d done. I held him back. “You know what, forget it. You’re welcome to her.” Harry looked at Matt before walking off. “Good one Maddie.” I said. El and the boys reached us just as I finished my sentence. “How could you?” Eleanor asked. “I’m sorry…” Maddie looked down at her feet. “Number 1, Harry does own you. He is your husband. 2, you cheating bitch, and 3, we’ll take Brooklyn thanks.” Eleanor said walking over to the stroller. “You can’t do that!” Maddie said grabbing the stroller back. I pulled Maddie off of it. “You don’t deserve Harry.” I said before taking the stroller off of Eleanor and going in the direction that Harry had gone. He was sitting on a bench with his head in his hands. He looked up when I got to him. “What happened?” He asked. “El had a go at her and we’ve got Brooklyn.” I said checking behind me to find the others. They were walking towards us. “I’m so sorry Haz.” Liam sat next to him. Maddie came over. “Harry, please, it was a mistake,” She pleaded with him. “I think you’ve done enough damage.” Niall said. “Maddie, how could you?” Harry looked at her. “I’m sorry Harry. I didn’t think.” She said. “How do you think I felt when I saw you and him together playing happy families? Especially when you’re wearing something like that.” He continued. “I’m sorry.” She repeated. “Sorry doesn’t cut it though does it? You cheated on me Maddie. Even if it was only once, you’re my wife. I know I don’t own you but the rings on your finger say I do. You’re married and have a child. You should have thought about that before kissing him.” Harry looked over at Matt. “I didn’t kiss him. I was going to but I didn’t. I was pissed off. You stormed out because you automatically assumed that I was cheating on you. You get linked to girls all the time for god sake but you don’t see me questioning you or jumping to the wrong conclusion. You need to learn to trust me.” She argued. “I did trust you, it’s the guys that I don’t trust.” He continued. “Did?” She asked. “Yeah, did. You lost my trust when you went to kiss him.” Harry said. “Maybe we should go back to the hotel,” I interrupted. People were starting to stare. “Fine,” Harry stood up and we all walked out of the door and back to the van. We got to the van and Harry climbed in with Maddie behind him. I shut the door and locked it. “Sort it out or you aren’t coming out.” I said. I sat in the driver’s seat and El in the passenger’s seat to listen to them. “I shouldn’t have done that Harry, I know.” Maddie said. “No you shouldn’t have.” Harry replied bluntly. “And I didn’t mean anything I said to Louis and the others when you weren’t there. You were only worried, I’m really sorry.” Maddie continued. “I love you Maddie. Don’t do that again, please.” Harry said. Maddie leaned over to hug him. “I won’t, I promise. You’re the only guy I love.” She confirmed. He kissed her and I climbed out and opened the door. “Right, now, El, I believe you owe Maddie an apology.” I said. Eleanor hugged Maddie. “I’m sorry that I called you a cheating bitch.” She apologised. “It’s okay, don’t worry about it.” Maddie replied. Maddie apologised to everyone and we went back into the mall to spend some time together. What a day!
Maddie’s P.O.V
“Why do you care about what I wear so much?” I asked Harry whilst we were shopping. “Because you show off so much of your body and I want to be the only person that sees it not everyone else!” He explained. I get it now! “Oh right, I’m sorry.” I leant into him and he put his arm around me. Today is going to be the only day I get to spend with him in two months and I completely messed that up this morning. I’m determined to make the most of it now. We spent all day chatting and joking around with everyone. It was a really good day. “Maddie, I just want to put what happened this morning behind us and never mention it again. Okay?” Harry said before getting into the van. “Me too, I love you Harry, have a good time, see you soon.” I kissed him. “I love you too Maddie.” He replied. I said goodbye to all the boys. “Look after El for me,” Louis said. “I will,” I assured him. “Look after the others too when you go back, and yourself.” Liam told me. “Okay, bye.” I waved at them as they pulled out of the parking lot. El started to cry and I hugged her. “Hey, it’s going to be okay. I’m here.” I said trying to make her feel better. My phone buzzed and I took it out of my pocket.

Their van stopped and Louis jumped out and ran over. “El, don’t cry babe.” Louis said hugging her. “I’ll be back before you know it okay, Maddie is going to take care of you, I love you.” He continued. She kissed him and he hugged her again before going back to the van. She didn’t cry this time. She just stared until the lights on the back were out of view. We walked back to Brooke’s car and got in. We drove home and Brooke was outside kissing someone who I assumed was her boyfriend. “No PDA please missy.” I said getting Brooklyn out of the car. She looked up and laughed. The boy asked her who I was. “She’s my older sister,” Brooke replied. “The model?” He asked her. “Yeah, the model.” She confirmed. I got the stroller and some of the shopping out of the trunk of the car and Eleanor got the rest. Brooke rushed to help. “Who’s he?” I whispered to her. “My boyfriend, Tyler, do you like him?” She answered. “I haven’t met him yet.” I reminded her. “Oh yeah,” She laughed. I shut the trunk of the car and locked it before handing her the keys. I walked up the path to the house and past Tyler with Eleanor close behind me. As I was unlocking the door I heard Tyler ask Brooke how old I was. “She’s nearly 23, why?” Brooke answered him. “And she’s got a kid? Slut. What about the other one?” He retorted. “She isn’t a slut. She’s my sister. And Eleanor is 24.” Brooke argued with him. I unlocked the door and let Eleanor go in before me so I could listen to Brooke and Tyler. “Your family are down with the sluts aren’t they, 22 with a baby and 24 and pregnant.” He laughed. I walked inside and shut the door. I dumped all the stuff in the living room and walked into the kitchen to find Mum and Dad. “Can I punch his lights out?” I asked. “Who’s? Harry’s?” Dad replied. “No not Harry’s but I have something to tell you later about him, Tyler’s.” I said angrily. “Why? What’s he done?” Mum questioned. “Called me and Eleanor sluts. Please?” I pleaded. “As much as we’d like you to do that hunny, we don’t want to risk you getting arrested. Did he say that to Brooke?” Mum continued. “Yeah, she defended me but she’s probably snogging his face off again now.” I said. “Well she’s just being silly. It’s just a phase. Like you and what was his name? Jack?” Dad joined in again. “That phase lasted a year. I’m not having Brooke like that.” I walked towards the door and opened it. “Brooke, time to come in, I want to spend some time with you before I go back to London.” I said interrupting their make out session. “So she’s the one that’s married to the famous idiot?” Tyler whispered in her ear. She ignored him and walked inside. “Brooke, I’ve heard everything he said. Why are you with him? He’s horrible.” I told her. “No he isn’t Maddie, he just says things without thinking. Leave me alone.” She said storming up the stairs. Mum was standing in the doorway to the kitchen. “No luck huh?” She asked. “Nope, but he just called Harry a famous idiot so he just gets worse.” I replied. “So he’s managed to make a dig about everyone now, great. You need to persevere.” “I’m not having my sister hate me.” I said. “She won’t, she’ll thank you eventually.” Mum replied. I sat down on the couch next to Eleanor. “What did he say?” She asked. “That we’re sluts and Harry is an idiot.” I responded. She looked shocked. “Why are we sluts? Because you have Brooklyn and I’m pregnant?” She was confused. “Yeah.” I told her. “That’s just stupid. Can we go to sleep? I’m really tired.” She told me. “Yeah sure,” I said helping her get up. We went upstairs and got ready for bed. I looked at my phone. Two new messages.

Tomorrow is Faye’s consultation evening. Mum and Dad can’t go so I’m going to go. Eleanor is going to stay home with Brooklyn. I climbed into bed. “Maddie, I feel really ill.” El whispered. I looked at her. “What’s the matter?” I asked. “I have really bad stomach pains.” She answered. I got out of bed. “Where are you going?” She said. “Get up, we’re going to the hospital, stomach pains are never good when you’re pregnant.” I told her. She got out of bed and dressed. I went into Brooke’s room and she was asleep so I took her car keys from her bedside table and went downstairs. Eleanor was already down there. We got into the car and we drove to the hospital. “Text Louis and tell him.” I said. “I don’t want to worry him, I’ll tell him later.” She replied. I sighed and we went into the hospital. “What’s the matter?” The receptionist asked. “My best friend is 6 months pregnant and she has really bad pains in her stomach.” I told her. “Okay, take a seat, I’ll get someone to see her as soon as possible.” We sat and waited for about 10 minutes before the nurse called her. “Do you want me to come with you?” I asked. “Yes please,” She said. I walked into the room behind her. “Okay, describe your pains to me.” The nurse said. “They’re a bit like cramp but a lot more painful.” El explained. The nurse did an ultrasound and came back with the results. “We’re going to have to admit you for a few days, I believe you are from the UK?” The nurse said. “Yeah, I’m just visiting.” Eleanor confirmed. “Well, you are expecting twins, do they run in the family?” The nurse asked. “They do in my boyfriend’s family.” Eleanor answered. “It is more than likely that you are going to have twins then but we’ll need to monitor you for a few days, you also have a case of flu which may make you quite tired and considering you’re pregnant it’s a lot more serious.” The nurse explained. “Okay,” Eleanor said. The nurse led Eleanor and I to a room and admitted her. “I’ll text Louis,” I told her. “Don’t tell him, please.” She begged. “Why?” I asked puzzled. “Because he’ll cancel shows to come and be with me, I can’t have him do that.” She stated. “I’m telling him Eleanor, you need him with you right now.” I said. I took out my phone.
To: Louis
I think you need to come and be with Eleanor, she’s in hospital.
I looked at the time ‘23.00’, Louis will probably still be up. My phone started to ring. Louis. “Is she okay?” He asked as soon as I picked up. “She’s fine, she’s got flu and because she’s pregnant it affects her more, especially seeing as she’s having twins.” I told him. “She’s having twins? She never told me that!” He sounded ecstatic. “She only found out herself a few minutes ago! Now come and be with her.” I said sternly. “I’m on my way now, Harry is with me too.” He replied. “Put him on then,” I said. He gave the phone to Harry. “Hey gorgeous, are you okay?” He asked. “Yeah I’m good thanks, what about you?” I said. “I’m great because in about 10 minutes I get to see you! We hadn’t left the hotel yet so we’re still in California.” He explained. I laughed. “Okay baby, see you soon, I’m going to go and be with Eleanor,” I told him. “Bye,” He said. I hung up and walked back in to Eleanor. “What did you say?” She was curious. “I said that you have flu and because you’re pregnant it affects you more, especially because you’re having twins.” I replied. “You told him?” She questioned. “Yes Eleanor, you can’t keep it from him. No wonder you started to show at 3 months.” I answered. She sighed and we sat for a few minutes before we heard talking. It was Harry and Louis, I got up and walked to the door just as they came in. “Hey,” Harry kissed me. Louis walked over to Eleanor and kissed her. I went back to the bed and Harry followed. “Why didn’t you tell me before you got admitted to hospital?” Louis asked Eleanor. “Because I didn’t want to worry you.” She said. “Do you want to get a drink?” I turned to Harry. I knew they wanted some privacy. “Yeah, let’s go.” He held my hand and we went to the drinks machine. “Where’s our lovely daughter?” He asked. “She’s at home with my mum and dad. Don’t worry.” I reassured him. “Okay,” He replied. We talked about Brooklyn and Eleanor for a while before coming onto the subject of their tour. “What are you going to do? Eleanor is going to be in here for a few days.” I looked down the corridor in the direction of her room. “We’ll just have to postpone some shows. It’ll be fine. He’ll do anything for El.” Harry said. I hugged him and we walked back to the room. We stood outside for a while before going in. “I don’t like your sister’s boyfriend.” Louis said as soon as I walked in. “Neither do I.” I agreed with him. “Why would you just stand there and let him offend you like that?” He questioned. “He didn’t know I could hear him. Just drop it okay, I’m going to talk to Brooke.” I said. “What did he say?” Harry asked. “He called me and Eleanor sluts and you an idiot.” I told him. “Why did he call you sluts?” He questioned. “Because I have a baby and Eleanor’s pregnant.” I explained. “What did Brooke do?” He continued. “Continued to make out with him. She’s not going to listen to me.” I answered. “Why would she do that?” Harry sounded shocked. “She just did okay, I don’t want to talk about it.” I finished our conversation.
