Maddie’s P.O.V
We were having a New Year’s party today so we needed to go to the supermarket to get the food and drink. Harry was refusing to get up. “Harry Styles! Get up!!” I shouted at him. He moaned and put a pillow over his head. I went next door and got Louis. He came to our apartment, filled a glass with water and poured it over Harry’s head. It was so funny. “Hey! That was uncalled for. Why’d you get Louis to do it?” He said. “Because I would have felt mean but he likes pouring water over you!” He laughed and got up. He dried his hair and put some clothes on. “We’ve got to go to the supermarket to get some stuff for tonight.” I called to him. “Urgh, can’t you go?” He said. “No Harry, you’re coming with me!” I said sternly. “Okay, okay,” he gave in. We got into my car and drove to Tesco. We bought some alcohol and loads of party food. I don’t drink but the others do. We paid for the items and went home. Harry was still grumpy. “What is the matter with you?” I asked him. “Nothing, I’m just tired.” He said. “Go and sleep for a while then, I can set up its fine.” I told him. “Thank you,” He stood up and walked towards the bedroom. I set up for the party and watched some TV. It was around 7pm when El and Louis came and I still wasn’t ready. I let them in and got ready. “Where’s Haz?” Louis asked. “Sleeping, he’s been grumpy all day!” I told him. He walked towards the bedroom but I stopped him, “Don’t wake him up, let him sleep.” I said. He sighed and walked to the alcohol. “I think it’s best you don’t drink Lou, we don’t want you losing El again. We can be sober together.” I tried to be kind. “Okay, okay, I don’t want to lose El,” He turned to her, “So I’m doing this for you babe,” He said. She laughed and hugged him. “Thank you,” All the others arrived and then I decided to wake Harry up, “Haz, baby, come on it’s time to get up now,” I told him. “Okay, I’ll be out in a few minutes,” He said walking towards the bathroom with some clothes. I walked out of the bedroom and put some music on. We all partied until 11.50 when we waited for the clock to strike 12. As it did everyone shouted “Happy New Year!” and hugged. We all had midnight kisses from our partner and Niall and Belle kissed to save them from being left out, then we went round hugging and started to watch the fireworks out of the window. We could see the massive ones because our apartments were right in between the London Eye and Big Ben. Everyone was a little bit drunk apart from me and Louis. Louis was really serious about not losing El. We partied for about another hour before they decided to go home. It was a really fun night. We crashed out on the couch and woke up in the afternoon. I decided to clear up the mess from last night. There was quite a lot. Cups and glasses everywhere, the kitchen was a complete mess. There was food all over the place, drinks spilt, empty bottles. Harry came into the kitchen and nearly screamed when he saw the mess. “Happy New Year Mads,” he laughed. “You’re helping me clear up! It was your mates that did this!” I shouted. “Okay, but it was some of yours too. All the girls are your friends.” He said. “Yeah I know, they’ve all probably got hangovers so as much as I’d like to drag them all round here and make them clear up I can’t, even Louis will be looking after El.” I sighed. “I have a hangover too you know, does that mean I don’t have to tidy up?” He said. “If you don’t want to tidy up then go to your own apartment.” I said. “Okay!” He said leaving. It wasn’t going to be that hard to tidy up. I put all the rubbish into a trash bag and then filled a bowl with warm soapy water. I got rid of all the sticky drinks spilt everywhere. When I had finished I went next door to tell Harry it was safe to come back. He left and came back. “Wow, this is tidy!” He said as he walked into my apartment. “Yeah, and it only took me an hour.” I told him. “Well done,” he kissed me as if it was a reward. “I love you Maddie,” he said. “I love you too Harry,” I replied as he kissed my forehead.
Harry’s P.O.V
-One week later-
Maddie was quite ill; we thought she must be coming down with something she’s been ill for the last three days. She’s back to Uni in two days so hopefully she’ll be okay then. I have about 3 months off with occasional working days like interviews and promo. I wanted to spend it with Maddie but she has Uni and can’t always be off. It’s just the way it works. We were together today and tomorrow and then she’s back at Uni. I was going to move in here properly. She had said that I basically live here anyway so I might as well move all my stuff in. Zayn was going to move in with Louis now because their apartment is really crowded with the three of them. I was just happy to be making this step in our relationship.
Maddie’s P.O.V
I’ve been ill for the last few days now and I’m quite worried. I decided to go to the doctors. I took Belle with me and told Harry we were going shopping. “Madeline Anderson,” the nurse called. I followed her to the doctor. “Hello Miss Anderson, take a seat.” He said. I sat down. “So, what seems to be the matter?” He asked. “I’ve been ill for the last few days and I don’t get ill like this often,” I told him. “Oh okay, does this occur at any particular time?” He questioned. “In the mornings or just after I wake up,” I said. “Okay, when was your last period?” Oh god, I could be pregnant. “Umm, I can’t remember but I think I’ve missed one.” I said. “We are going to need to do a scan, an ultrasound.” He said. “Okay.” He did the scan and when we had finished he said, “Congratulations Miss Anderson, you’re pregnant.” I was so scared. This was going to ruin everything. Harry won’t want this and I have Uni to think about. I walked back to Belle. “What’s happened?” She said walking towards me. “I’m… I’m pregnant.” I stuttered. “Oh my god,” she said. We got into the car and drove home. “Are you going to tell Harry?” she asked. “I’ve got to. He’s not going to like it.” I was scared of what he might do. I walked upstairs slowly and opened the door to my apartment. “What’s the matter babe?” Harry said noticing my sadness. “I went to the doctors… I’m pregnant Harry,” I said quietly. “You’re what?” He shouted. “You heard,” I said. “I can’t be a dad Maddie, it will ruin everything. I’m sorry Maddie but you’re going to have to raise them on your own.” He stormed into the bedroom and packed some bags. I knew he’d go back to his apartment. He left and I walked into the bedroom. He had taken nearly everything. I knew we were over but it was hard to take in, I took off my ring and started to cry.
Harry’s P.O.V
I stormed out of Maddie’s and back to my apartment. “Woah Haz, what’s happened?” Lou said when he saw how annoyed I looked. “I broke up with Maddie…” I said. “Why??” He asked. “Because, because she’s pregnant.” I told him. “I can’t be a dad; it will ruin my career and everything I’ve worked for.” I said sitting down. “So you left her because she told you she’s pregnant? Harry she needs you more than ever now! She needs your support!” He shouted at me. “I know, but I can’t give it to her.” I sighed. El ran out of their room holding her phone. She saw me and immediately looked away, I knew that Maddie had texted her. “I can’t believe you Harry, any signs of responsibility and you’re out in a flash. You’re pathetic.” She spat. “El…” I said. “Shut up, I don’t want to hear it.” She walked out slamming the door. I packed some bags. I’m going home. I went down to my car and got in. It was going to be a long drive but I need my mum. When I got there she was shocked to see me. “Where’s Maddie?” she asked. I walked inside and closed the door. “I split up with her,” I said. “What? Why?” she asked. “Because she’s pregnant…” I confided in my mum. “Oh Harry, you can stay for a few days but then I want you to sort things out with Maddie. Gemma won’t be happy though.” She hugged me. “I know…” I walked to my room.
Gemma had hated me for breaking up with Maddie. I stayed at my Mum’s for a week before deciding to go home. I knew I had to sort things out with Maddie, she’s carrying my baby and she needs my support. I got back and walked to her apartment. I knocked on the door and she opened it. “What are you doing here?” She said quietly. “We need to talk Maddie, I was wrong, I love you and I don’t care if the baby ruins my career at least I’ll still have you.” I told her. “Harry, you walked out on me as soon as I told you and now you expect me to take you back?” She said. “Please Maddie, I’ll stand by you. I promise.” She hugged me. “Okay Harry, but you need to prove that to me…” “I will.” She opened the door wider and let me walk in. She had some Uni work spread out on the kitchen table. She sat back down and started to work. I sat at the table with her and we talked whilst she worked. I told her I’d be next to her for the whole pregnancy and after the baby is born. She knew I had to record songs and stuff but we don’t start another tour for a while.

Notes

I know people think that pregnancies ruin the story but I don't think they do. I've written up to 40 chapters for this story and I wouldn't have been able to do that without Maddie getting pregnant. Please don't unsubscribe :)
