Still The One
Chapter 32
The doorbell rang and Zayn jumped up from his seat to answer it. I heard yelling and screaming and I smiled lightly.
"Capri Boo!" Yep, he just called me Capri Boo. Don't ask.
"Louis Bear!" I said, once again forcing a smile. I hugged him and he clung on tightly.
"Okay. Where's Papa Bear?" That's what he called Harry. "and baby boo?" and that's what he called Darcy. We were all a bunch of Bear's and Boo's.
"Uhh... We have some news for you." Niall said as everyone entered the kitchen.
"They didn't die did they!?" Louis said while covering his mouth with his hand.
"No. Their alive. But... lets sit down." Niall said. We all nodded and we all walked to the living room. I sat on the couch in between Zayn, and Niall, while Louis sat on the chair in the corner. The girls sat on the love seat together and I took in a deep breath.
"So... fill me in. What did I miss while I was in Peru?" He said with a rather happy expression.
"It started two weeks ago at the mall. Me and Harry went, and we ran into Kate Johnson, the one he cheated on me with in Australia. I guess he got her pregnant, and now she has Harry's kid. She was also dating Mason. Remember him?" He nods his head and I can tell he's getting angrier. "Okay, so Kate was with my brother the night he had died, and I told Harry but he didn't believe me. He thought I was being irrational and I was 'judging a book by it's cover' but I remembered her. She... she's still that same cold hear-ted bitch I remember he as." he chuckled lightly. "he left me that night after saying that he never stopped loving her." Louis' mouth gaped and everyone else's did too.
"I told you this already!" I exclaimed. They shut their mouths and I continued. "Sunday we went to court to get divorced officially, and to see who received custody of Darcy. He bribed the judge, and got custody. Later that day he came over and told me that everything he did was a lie. He wanted to get me to hate him, because he didn't think he was good enough for me. And me, being so stupid and forgiving, believed it. I said we could be friends until I find out what we actually are. The next day Zayn , and Harry took me to the doctor to find out if I was pregnant. Which I am, with twins, and on the way home Harry wanted to go back to Kate's house." I said. Zayn tapped my shoulder and I looked to him.
"What about the other thing?" I looked at him in confusion.
"Last night?" He reminded me. M heart raced at the memory.
"Y-yeah. Umm last night I invited all of them over for dinner. Kate and Harry came to the door with their son, and things happened at the dinner table.... Okay, Harry basically pretended I didn't exist while Kate was going off about my brother committing suicide, and my dad raping me at the age of 12. That was it! My dad's back. He was all apologetic, then he mother fucking stalks Zayn and beats him up, because he was "getting in the way of him getting close to me again" okay, your all caught up. Any questions?" I ask sarcastically.
"Just one, WHAT THE FUCK IS HARRY'S PROBLEM?!" He yelled. Tears escaped my eyes that i didn't even know were there. Louis looked at me while I avoided eye contact with everyone. I felt being pulled into his arms and I began crying harder.
"I'm so sorry about all of this Capri. You don't des-" I cut Louis off mid sentence.
"No! I don't want pity anymore! I cant fucking take it anymore! I love you guys, and I appreciate the concern, but you guys shouldn't have to apologize for something that he's doing!" He stood up and reached his hand out. I took it hesitantly and stood up. with him.
"Get your shoes on. we're going to Kate's house, and you're gonna tell her how you feel."
Me and Louis pulled up in front of Kate's house and I looked at him with uncertainty .
"I cant to this. I don't know If I ca do this." my heart beat faster and my breathing became heavy.
"Yes you can. Calm down. I now you can do this." He said. I gulped and nodded. Without thinking I got out of the car and followed him to the front door, as he knocked. Seconds later Harry answered the door with only gray sweats on.
"Louis!" He exclaimed while going in for a hug.
Louis held out his arm and Harry looked at me with absolutely no emotion. "Is Kate here?" he snapped. Harry nodded and Kate appeared at the door with only a robe.
"Ew, what is she doing here?" She asked Harry while looking at me with disgust.
"I'm here... to... tell you how I feel." I said getting quieter towards the end.
"Really? Why should I listen to what you say?" She said with a bitchy attitude.
"Because I have a voice! And I'm tired of you thinking you're better than me! You think you won... and you didn't. This isn't a fucking game, it's life and I'm pretty sure your living yours wrong, by being a bitch." I quickly covered my mouth in regret of saying that. Harry's mouth gaped, and so did Louis'.
"I'm sorr-" Louis cut me off.
"No she's not. She meant what she said, and Harry I'm sure she has some choice words for you too." I widened my eyes at him and he smirked at them.
"No I don't, I'm done here. But Harry you really need to over think this whole Darcy thing. You bribed the fucking judge! Do you understand how that sounds? You... you're not fit for this. I'm her mother we need to be together. She shouldn't be living with a stranger and her dick of a father." I said before looking at Kate who was smirking.
"I guess you did have something to say to Harry" she said with a devilish expression. I glared at her.
"Go fuck yourself." I snapped.
"I already have someone to do that for me." She said while bringing his face to her, as they kissed. Louis placed his hand on my back and we walked back to the car.
"Feel better?' he asked with and apologetic expression.
'Not exactly. But it was good to get that out."
