Chapter 28
~ Capri's POV ~
We get back to the house and I unbuckle Darcy from her car seat. I set her at my hip and Zayn follows behind me as we approach the door. I unlock the door with my free hand, and push it open. I let Zayn in first considering he's... unstable? I guess that's what you would say.
"Do you want to stay for dinner? Perrie, and Dani, and Liam, and Jade, and Niall could come too." I said happily. He sat on the couch and responded with a positive 'sure'. I smiled and brought Darcy over to the couch as well. I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and texted Liam, Niall, and Perrie.
"Okay. Just waiting for their response. What do you want to do?" I ask. He looks to me and shrugs his shoulders.
"Do you need anything? Ice pack... Hot pack? Food?" I ask. I feel really terrible for everything that has happened to him, and I sorta feel responsible.
"I'm fine C. Really that's the third time you've asked me today. Are you okay?" he asked with a slight chuckle.
"Yes. Maybe. I really don't know. I don't feel... anything really. I'm just kind of..." He finished my sentence for me.
"There?" I nodded my head and sighed.
"Okay. I cant take this anymore. I'm so sorry for what my Father did to you. I... I'm really sorry I cant believe he actually had the guts to try and be back in my life, and then when he says he changed he goes and beats you up like.. like he can do whatever he wants, and he cant because he just... cant." I let out a sigh that I had just got all of that out in one breath. He brings me into his arms and in bury my face in his chest.
"I'd rather him hurt me, then him hurt you or Darcy." He said in a deep, sincere tone making his chest vibrate.
'He's already hurt me, I don't think he could possibly hurt me anymore than he already has. Him hurting me is one thing, but hurting my family... is just wrong and unforgivable. He doesn't know boundaries. Funny, because neither did my Grandparents. Have you ever noticed how wrong all of this is?" I asked with a quiet laugh at the end.
"Trust me, I know. I cant believe you had sex at mark's wedding!" I pulled away and rolled my eyes.
"He wouldn't stop bugging me about it! He kept interrupting my conversations with people and it was really annoying! I wanted him to shut up!" I defended. He chuckled and I felt my f\cheeks turn crimson.
"No judging. I have bugged Perrie a couple times as well." I laughed at out topic of conversation and he laughed too.
"I'm hungry." he stated randomly.
"Me too!" i jumped up from the couch and and I felt him copy my actions. I picked Darcy up from the ground, and we walked over to the kitchen.
"What do you want?" i asked searching the fridge intently.
"I don't know. It's your house." He stated. i turned to him and huffed.
"lets go to the grocer store. I need to get food anyway." I said. He nodded and we made our way back to the car.
We arrived at the store and I had Darcy clipped in on the cart. Zayn and I walked around the store.
"Feel free to pick out whatever." I said as we strolled down the aisle with all of the chips, and stuff.
"Ohh!" I exclaimed while grabbing a bag of Funions.
"Funions! Ohh! I haven't had these in a really long time! I didn't know they sold these in the U.K." i said looking at the bag.
"Then you don't know shit!" he yelled playfully. i rolled my eyes before hearing my name called. i turned around and so did Zayn. Shit. Fans.
"OMG! ITS ZAYN MALIK AND CAPRI STYLES OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!" I gave her a small smile before she ran up to us.
'Omg. I cant believe you-your here!" she squealed with excitement and I was happy she didn't seem to hate me.
Zayn pulled her into his arms and she nearly fainted. I laughed lightly at how much they love the boys.
"Oh my god! It's Darcy! She looks just like you and harry! You guys are the cutest family ever!" She quickly hugged me and i hugged back before her mom came up behind her.
"I'm sorry. She really loves you. Rebecca come on, Darrel's waiting in the car." Her mother said. I smiled at her.
"Can I please get a picture?" she pleaded practically ignoring her mother.
"Of course, love." Zayn replied. She pulled out her phone and she held it in front of her, with us smiling behind her.
"Thank you! I love you!" She said as she skipped off with her mother.
"That was so cute! Oh my god!" I said. He nodded his head in agreement as we kept walking down the aisle's.
~ Jade's POV ~
I sat on the couch with my hand rested on my large baby bump. (A/N Yes she's pregnant with Niall's baby) I felt the couch dip next to me and I turned my head to Niall. He smiled widely at me, and I kissed his cheek.
"Capri invited us over for dinner. Do you wanna go?" he asked. I smiled and nodded my head.
"My heart is really hurting for her. I honestly can't believe Harry right now. He better have a really good explanation the next time I see him." I said glaring into the distance. He chuckled lightly and he scratched his nose nervously.
"What do you know?" I said accusingly. He sighed before getting more comfortable in the couch.
"He said he's doing it because he's not good enough for her..." He said.
"To be honest... Capri is the nicest, sweetest, most forgiving person you will ever meet. No one will ever be good enough for her." I stated. He nodded his head.
"She is really nice huh? Harry feels like she deserves better than him, because he's never around for her or whatever. But I told him that Capri literally loves him more than anything. She'll kill someone whose mean to him. He understands, but he wants her to hate him, so he can let her be happy with someone else. It doesn't make sense, I don't he knows how much she's hurting right now. Zayn told me they went to court yesterday, and Harry bribed the judge to give him full custody of Darcy." My mouth gaped at everything he just said.
"Bribed? That little fucker!" I yelled. He kissed my hand to calm me down.
"It's okay. The only thing we can do is help her." I smiled at him through my anger towards Harry.
~ Capri's POV ~
I heard the doorbell and paused my conversation with Perrie to answer it. Perrie and Zayn were the only ones here so far. I opened the door and smiled at the cute couple in front of me.
"Hey! Dani, It feels like I haven't seen you in forever.!" I hugged her tightly, and she jumped.
"What?" I asked.
"YOU HAVE A BABY BUMP!" She exclaimed. I looked at her amused, because she actually noticed.
"So. you are pregnant? How far along did the doctor say?" Liam asked while stepping into a hug as well.
"A month and a half. It's two babies." I say. Danielle squeals and hugs me again. Liam stands there dumbfounded.
"Why don't you guys come in!" I exclaimed breaking the awkwardness that had fallen over us. They nodded and stepped into the house. Perrie squealed and hugged Danielle and Liam. Liam came back and stood next to me.
"Does Harry know that there's two of them?" He whispered. I nodded my head yes.
'He was there. He stayed the night last night actually. Not like that, but we were in a good place last night, and then after the doctors he asked to go back to Kate's house." I shrugged. He pulled me to his sighed and kissed the top of my head.
"He needs to pull his head out of his ass, and realize what's going on." I laughed lightly before being startled by another doorbell. I pulled away from him and walked to the door, opening it in one swift motion. Jade stood there next to Niall, and she rested her hand on her huge belly.
"Jade, Niall!" I exclaimed while hugging them each. Niall whispered in my ear which caused me to jump.
"Are you okay? I heard yesterday was pretty rough." I pulled away and nodded at him. He sent me a small smile and i shrugged.
"So, tell me! How do you like being the size of a house?!" I asked Jade jokingly. She laughed at me and we joined everyone in the kitchen area. Perrie and Danielle were playing with Darcy, while Zayn and Liam watch the baseball game that's playing on the TV.
Me and Jade were in conversation when another doorbell interrupted us.
"We're not expecting anyone else." I said while walking over to the door with Jade right behind me. I clicked it open and nearly choked on the sight in front of me.
"Hey. I heard there was a little... Family get together here." Kate said while holding Nathan, as Harry stood by her side holding her hand. What the fuck?
"Hey. I don't remember inviting you" I said mockingly. All the chatter in the house stopped and I could feel all eyes on us.
'Well.. It is Harry's house, don't think he and his girlfriend need an invitation." She snapped Grlfriend? Did she just say girlfriend?
"I-I gyess n-" Jade cut me off.
"Listen you little cunt fuck, your dealing with family here, you cant speak to her that way. And you being here with Harry doesn't mean shit, So I think you can both just fuck off before things get ugly." I widened my eyes at what she had just said and I heard someone chuckle behind me.
"I-It's fine. I'll set some more places at the table. Come on in." Kate smirked and shoved past me, making me stumble back. Jade looked at me in disbelief. Niall called her name she walked away with an apologetic expression.
"Thanks." Harry muttered while walking past me. I ignored him before closing the door. Tears sprung to my eyes as I watched Harry put his arm around her. Fuck.
