Chaper 22
~ Harry"s POV ~
I pull up into Kate's driveway and turn off my car. I've fucked up. Big time. I doze off into my thoughts about us. When we stayed at the vacation house. And when she found out she might be pregnant with Darcy.
~ Flashback ~
"I love you too Capri" I respond. We lay there silently in each other embrace.
Not awkward. Not uncomfortable. I feel overwhelmed with feelings for her. She is kind, funny, beautiful, and she loves me. I love her too.
I have only known her for about a month, and after two weeks we were already telling each other that. And it could never feel more real.
"Baby are we sill going to the pool?" Capri asks as I lay on top of her body.
"Hhmmm sure." I hum while she pushes me off of her.
"Hey! You were my pillow!!" I exclaim. She giggles and walks over to her suitcase... naked... beautiful sights in this room right now.
"Okay I have three different options. The pink one. The black one. Or the yellow one" she says while holding three bikini tips in my face.
"Umm the black one." I respond. She nods her head while walking over to the bathroom, and stepping inside not even shutting the door. I like how she does that. She's comfortable around me.
I get out of bed and realize I still didn't remove the condom. I peel it of and throw it in the bin next to the bed it lands and I glance over the bin to see if it was thrown successfully. Oh my god. I see the big ass hole right in the tip of the condom. Shit. Shit. Shit!!
I pick it back up and examine it. It fucking stretched!
"Babe...?" Capri walks over to me with a confused look.
"Most guys in this situation would lie. But not me. Babe the condom..." Her face hardens and she looks at the plasticity crap in my hands.
"...broke." I finish. She looks good in the bathing suit. She sits on the bed and stares in shock.
"Does the universe want me to get pregnant?" She asks looking up at me.
I shrug and sit next to her "maybe." I say. She nods and gets up.
"Whatever happens I have you." She says. I smile and slip my swim trunks on running after her as she leaves the room.
~ End of Flash back ~
I start up the car again and drive straight to Capri's house. Ive fucked up, and I'm going to fix it.
~ Capri's POV ~
I get home and set Darcy in her high chair. I take out some noodles from last night and put them in the microwave.
"Capri... I got to get home. Danielle needs me tonight..." I kiss his chek and thank him before he's out the door.
"Zayn, you can go home too. I'll be fine. And I promise I'll go to the doctor tomorrow." I say. He smiles.
"Thank you. I'll pick you up at 12:00. Okay?" I nod and give him a hug. He walks outside shutting the door behind him, and I hand Darcy her noodles.
"Thank you Mamma!" I smile and sit down next to her.
I hear the doorbell ring and I get up from the table to open it.
"Harry... Why cant you just leave us alone?" I whine. he steps in the house and connects his lips with mine. I don't kiss back, but I don't pull away. I stay there frozen. He pulls away and looks down into my eyes.
"I'm sorry..." I look into his eyes that get sadder by the second.
"Me too. I'm sorry I believed that you could actually love someone like me." I whispered. he took in a sharp breath before stepping back.
"But... I really do love you." He said. I sighed as tears brimmed my eyes.
"Prove it." he let go of me altogether before tears slid down his cheeks.
"Prove that you actually love me. prove that all of this was just an attempt to make me happier. Can you prove that?" i ask. Liam and Zayn had told me what Harry was trying to do this whole time. I don't even know how I felt about it.
"Can I explain?"
