Chapter 15
~ Jackson's POV ~
It was her turn to go and I took a sip of my drink. She was perfect. Her laugh was ridiculous, and she had those happy eyes. I know she's still depressed about that Harry dude, but he's a dick. If anyone is going to help her through this, I hope it's me.
"STRIKE! TAKE THAT BITCH!" she yelled in my face.
"I can tell you get competitive... It's sort of scary..." I confessed she laughed and looked up at our screen.
"This is the last turn." I said. She nodded with a frown.
"It's 10:30 at night." Her expression became worried and she started switching her shoes out. I chuckled and rolled the ball one last him.
I didn't bother to look at it, I turned around and switched out my shoes as well.
"This has been fun" she stated.
I nodded and threw away the trash from our dinner.
"Ready?" She nodded her head yes and we walked out to the car. She rubbed her bare arms with her hands as I wrapped my jacket around her.
Her cheeks turned crimson, then she tugged the jacket tighter around herself.
~ Capri's POV ~
"Thank you for tonight. I really had fun." I said as we approached my front door.
"I had fun too. See you around?" I nodded and handed him his jacket.
"See you around." I watched as he slung his jacket over his shoulder and walked back to the car.
I opened the door and crept inside.
"Your home!" Perrie whisper yelled.
I nodded and hugged her.
Danielle hugged me as well and I thanked them for babysitting.
They walked out the door, and I heard giggles and screeches. Rolling my eyes I trudged upstairs. I cracked Darcy's door open to see if she was asleep. She was, so I went into our room and turned on the shower.
I waited for it to get hot before stepping in. My naked body relaxing under the droplets. I sighed and washed my body and hair thoroughly.
"I'm lucky I'm in love with my best friend, I'm lucky to have been where we have been, I'm lucky to be coming home again." I sang to myself. I stepped out and wrapped a towel around my body. I opened the bathroom door and the steam puffed out into my cold bedroom.
My phone rang and I quickly picked it up, not wanting to wake Darcy.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Capri..." Uhhhgggh. Harry
"Y-yeah?"
"We have to finalize the divorce tomorrow. "
"Oh. W-when?" Tears fell from my eyes, but they were silent.
"Tomorrow, at 9:00, in court."
"Okay." I quickly hung up. Great. I get to see him. Again.
