*HARRYS POV*
I woke up the next morning annoyed that I couldn’t get Kylie to give in, her and Alexis slept in Kylies, Niall slept in Alexis room and I slept on the couch.
I groaned and reached for my phone to check the time. ‘6:00 am’ great... I rolled my eyes and tried to fall back asleep but the couch was so uncomfortable.
I decided to get up and take a shower, I couldn’t fall back asleep so might as well. After my shower I got dressed and walked back to the couch and turned on the TV. A few minutes later I heard my phone ring and answered it quickly.
“Harry” Garrett said in shaky voice.
“Garrett.. is everything okay? I asked in a concerned voice, he sounded worried and I couldn’t shake the feeling something was off.
“he….he got Nikki Harry… its bad.. they don’t umm they don’t know if she’s going to make it.” Garrett answered quietly. I could tell he was crying and I could feel my eyes tearing up. This is the last thing I wanted, for Dominic to keep his promise. Nikki was a friend, she was part of the group and Garrett really loved her, it wasn’t fair.
“Garrett—I” I trailed off, I didn’t know what to say. “How did this happen? Where is she?” I said walking into the kitchen.
“Last night leaving the club- - - um I guess they saw you and Kylie still together.. and they grabbed her late last night after I took her home.. I should of stayed this is all my fault.” He cried into the phone. “shes in the hospital mate and they won’t even let me see her..”
“this isn’t your fault. I’ll grab Niall and the girls and meet you at the hospital. Don’t worry mate this isn’t your fault don’t blame yourself.” I said quietly back into the phone before hanging up. I ran my fingers through my hair and tried to pull myself together. This was all my fault I should of stayed away but no I just had to be selfish, first Kylies Mom now Nikki. I had to do something before he could hurt anyone else.
*NIALLS POV*
“Niall! Wake up!” I heard Harry say walking into Alexis’s room. I looked at the clock and it was only 7:00.
“what.” I said looking at him, he looked worried like something was wrong. “whats wrong?” I said sitting up quickly.
“Nikki---- she’s dying, she’s in the hospital. Dominic got her mate its bad and really bad..” He said looking at the floor. “its all my fault Niall. I cant take it anymore, I just wanted to let you know whats going on. I have to stop him before he hurts anyone else. “ he said in a deep tone.
I just sat there in shock, not fully understanding what was going on because it was all happening so fast.
“what are you going to do Harry?” was all I managed to get out because of all the emotion flooding through my brain, mostly anger.
“im going to take care of it, but I need you to watch out for Kylie. Make sure no one hurts her, make sure she stays safe and most importantly doesn’t come looking for me.” He said in a low tone.
“Tell everyone that im sorry and tell Nikki that I love her and I hope she forgives me. “ He said handing me a letter.
“Harry this is crazy.. You can’t do this! Garrett needs you! Kylie needs you we all need you. We can handle this together! Going alone is suicide Harry and you know it.” I said standing up and yelling at him.
“WHAT OTHER OPTION DO WE HAVE NIALL! HE WONT STOP, HE WONT.” Harry yelled back crying.
“well whats to say he won’t continue even after you try and stop him.. WHAT IF HE KILLS YOU HARRY! THEN WHAT!.” I said yelling back . Harry was crazy, he can’t just leave there’s no way he’ll get to Dominic and come out alive.
“THEN ILL DIE TRYING NIALL! I DON’T –“he said back yelling but stopped when I gave him a look to turn Alexis standing at the door of the room, tears running down her cheeks. We both stopped our fighting and I walked over to her giving her a hug.
“Kylies gone.” She said in between whimpers. I just hugged her tight and looked at Harry who stood in shock.
*KYLIES POV*
I woke up because of all the yelling coming from Alexi’s room and Lex did too.
“what’s going on?” she said in a low whisper.
“I don’t know..” I said looking at her before hopping out of bed. We both quietly walked over to her room so we could hear the boy’s conversation.
“Harry this is crazy.. You can’t do this! Garrett needs you! Kylie needs you we all need you. We can handle this together! Going alone is suicide Harry and you know it.” Niall said yelling at Harry.
I automatically felt tears forming in my eyes and Alexis grabbed my hand and squeezed it lightly. I knew what this argument was about… Dominic.
“WHAT OTHER OPTION DO WE HAVE NIALL! HE WONT STOP, HE WONT.” Harry yelled back crying.
“well whats to say he won’t continue even after you try and stop him.. WHAT IF HE KILLS YOU HARRY! THEN WHAT!.” Niall said yelling back. I put my hand over my mouth to muffle the sound of me sobbing.
I ran into my bedroom and Alexis followed quickly behind me once I ran in the room I started packing a bag.
“Kylie what are you doing! Stop!” she yelled at me tears in her eyes as I started throwing stuff into my bag.
I just walked towards her and hugged her tightly.
“I love you Lex, you’re the best friend I could of ever asked for you always protect me, but this time im protecting you. I am not going to sit by and watch everyone either get hurt or attempt to protect me! Im doing what I should of done a long time ago.” I said tightly gripping my bag, trying to hold back my tears. “Tell everyone else im sorry too for everything. And look after the café would ya?” I said forcing a smile but it quickly faded and I just hugged Alexis tighter.
“Tell Harry I love him and I’m sorry, but the thought of losing him too is too much for me, I would rather be apart from him and keep him safe.” I said walking out of my room. I still heard the yelling and quietly slipped out of the front door.
I jumped into my car and drove away as quickly as possible to prevent anyone from trying to stop me, tears pouring out of my eyes I could barely see I was crying so hard.
*HARRYS POV*
“Kylies gone.” Alexis said in between whimpers. I just stood there in shock, I felt like my heart had been ripped out of my chest and I couldn’t breathe.
I ran out of Alexis’s room and ran into Kylies. The minute I ran in I saw her stuff on the floor and I knew she was gone. I broke down I fell onto my knees and I sobbed. It was happening all over again, he won. He hurt me just like I had hurt him I was broken.I got up and just started breaking everything I could get my hands on.
“HARRY STOP!!!!” Alexis yelled running into the room. She ran over to me and grabbed the picture of Kylie and I out of my hand and wrapped her arms around me holding me tight.
“Harry just stop….” She cried into my shirt and I just stood there numb tears pouring down my face. I pulled myself out of her grip and walked out of the room, grabbing my keys and slamming the front door behind me.
I jumped into my car and drove to the bar. I needed to feel something, anything and alcohol was the only way I could do it. It was only 11:00 am at this point, and I knew the only bar open was Bobs. I stormed in and walked up to the counter sitting down. The bar tender turned around and smiled. She was quite attractive. She smiled at me and I tried to smile back.
“what can I get you?” she said in a quiet tone
“ill take anything you got.” I said back in a serious tone.
I couldn’t think of anything else, not Dominic, not Nikki and not Kylie. I couldn’t feel or even see straight. I just wanted to feel something anything.. anything at all
