Onyx walked through the crowd of people exiting off the airplane. "Excuse me" Her small voice sqeaked, trying to get past everyone which for some reason were surprisingly taller than her.
Many 'Watch it's!' and 'Hey's!' came from people, and she would squeak out her apology until she got into a clearing.
"Onyx, over here!" She heard someone call her name.
She looked around, until she found a girl with light brown, emo cut hair. "Veronica" She sighed, relieved she found her.
"Hey, little sis!" Veronica chirped, and wrapped the small girl into her arms. "Missed ya'!"
Onyx smiled, "Missed you, too"

"So, where do you live?" Onyx asked Veronica, who driving on some small back roads.
The sun was setting, and the last rays of light would soon be gone. She hated this time of day.
It was this time of day thay exactley two months ago, she got a phone call from the hospital saying that her parents had gotten into a car crash.
She rushed down there as fast as possible, and thankfully, they were still alive. Then, the next day at this time, they were pronounced dead.
It was like everything bad happens just as the sun goes down.
"Oh, I live in Cheshire. We're almost there" Veronica answered, breaking Onyx's drepressing thoughts.
Onyx nodded, and plugged in her earphones.
'Imaginary' by Evanescence came on, and she leaned back, happy to have a song reflect her mood.

Onyx insisted that Veronica could go inside while she got her own bags. She didn't want her sister's help.
She stared at the small patch of woods, literally across the street. It was dark, and she was getting ancy with sitting outside, but something made her stay out.
She shool it off, and grabbed her last bag, heading inside.
"Onyx, I'm making taco's!" Veronica yelled from the kitchen. Onyx yelled back an 'okay', and walked upstairs to the empty bedroom.
Only a small full sized bed, and desk filled the room. Onyx sighed, happy she has something!
She went into the small closet, to see there was a bookshelf, with a few romance novels in it.
Onyx smiled, she loved to read.
She went back into the room, and got her black sheet set from one of her bags. She quickly put it on the bed, and then got her black and purple comforter, putting that on top.
Her hands found there way to the other bag with her lap top in it. She got it out, and plugged it in, sitting it on the small desk.
Onyx was suddenly cold.
Ever since her parents died, she had a theory that one of them were just hugging her when she felt cold.
She smiled to herself, grabbing her toothbrush and pajamas, heading toward the bathroom.
Onyx took a quick shower, washing her thick hair with the strawberry scented shampoo and conditioner her sister already had.
Once she got out, she got dressed, brushed her teeth, and layed down in bed. Not even caring about the taco's she could smell downstairs.
