The new start
Chapter five, "The new girl and the five angels"
I was deep into my mind when I heard mum´s voice in the background. I was just not in the mood to listen to all her questions. But once again I was going to be the nice kid so I just had to be in the mood for it. I put on my fake smile, which by the way didn´t look so fake anymore and that was a plus because I just knew I was going to use it again, many times.
"Honey what are you going to do today, school doesn´t start until about a week so you have plenty of time to get some new friends before that, right?" Some new friends, right? No way. I didn´t think I could speak to someone else then mum, maybe dad and yeah that guy Harry. But it was just to smile and play with.
"Yeah, I was thinking I could go and look around, maybe meet some new people." I said.
"That sound like an absolutely great idea!" Mum almost screamed. I didn´t know if it was because she wanted some alone time with dad or if she just was happy for me.
"I´m just going to get ready first." I said and got up from the floor, where I just had eaten my breakfast. Mum nodded and I walked into my room and closed the door. I actually liked this apartment especially my room, and I guess that´s good. Yes at least that´s good. One good thing about my life, it gets better!
I opened my bag and tore out all the clothes before I chose a sweet white dress and my black boots. Maybe it would be to cold but I think if I wear my black coat too I would probably be able to stand it. When I had got dressed I put on some mascara, powder and eye shadow. Then it was time for the hair. It was hard to get it perfect because the mirror was so small but in the end it actually looked pretty good. When I was ready I took my cell phone and my coat and walked out into the chilly air.
That´s when I saw it, a whole group of boys. Harry was one of them. But that wasn´t the weirdest thing, everyone looked perfect. It was like looking to five angels. I mean how could that be possible? Was everyone perfect here or what? Then I heard a voice behind me.
"Hey, who are you? I haven´t seen you before!" I turned around and in front of me I saw the most prettiest girl ever. She had red hair, probably colored but anyway! She also had brown eyes and the cutest outfit ever. I did not fit in here at all!
"I´m Amy and yes I´m new, who are you?" I said with a smile and this time it was not fake. but that´s not the best thing. I could speak normally! Maybe I would fix this whole new town and new people thing!
"I knew it! I´m Chloe, nice to meet you!" She said and gave me a hug. The hug came so suddenly I barley had time to hug her back. I was happy she gave me that hug, it wasn´t the same as mum´s hugs it was full of love.
"Nice to meet you too!" I said and smiled my unfake smile. Chloe also smiled but she seemed like a girl that always smiles and I liked that. It was different from all the other people I´ve met.
"Do you want to follow me home? I live here." She said and pointing out my apartment. My smile got even brighter when I realized it, we are neighbors!
"Oh, I live there too, what a coincidence!" I laughed.
"Yeah right, but are you coming or not?" She seemed a little stressed out and she kept looking at Harry and the angles so I acted fast. Maybe they were dangerous or something!
"Of course." I said and dragged her with me into the apartment. I could see that she got more calmed, but I really wondered why she was so stressed out about the boys. Harry seemed so kind this morning.
