The new start
Chapter thirty-two, "Mixed feelings"
"I´m sure he had something important to do, he will call you as soon as he gets back." Chloe said and hugged me. I had told her the whole Harry story and her words actually made me feel better.
"I hope so. But now it´s your turn." I said and the sad feeling inside of me was blown away. I was so excited to hear what Zayn had told her and stuff like that.
"Okay, well this morning I walked to the store to buy some breakfast and I ran into Zayn. You know Louis buddy." She started.
"Yeah, go on." I said and I could practically se how her eyes started shining when she mentioned the name Zayn.
"Well, the first time we just talked a little but that´s not important. The second time when I got home from the store he came running towards me and he seemed really nervous. Then he asked me out and it felt so good because I just... since Louis, love have just felt so hopeless but maybe there is some hope left you know." She said and I loved seeing her so happy.
"Of course you will find love and I´m so happy for you." I said and when I was sitting there I realized I hadn´t asked if Chloe went to the same school as I because I was really nervous for my first school day tomorrow.
"So I know it´s kind of a big change on the subject but I really need to ask." I had no idea if I would manage to go to the school if Chloe didn´t go there so I prayed to god she would go at the same school as I.
"You can ask me anything." She said.
"Do you go to the same school as I, I think mine is called The laytmer school or something." I asked and I could see on her face how she lit up.
"I am! Oh my god, how exciting?" She exclaimed and jumped a huge jump. I smiled and felt how a wave of safety came flowing over me. Then it looked like Chloe got an idea.
"Do you know what that means?" She asked and I shook my head.
"Shopping time!" She shouted and I smiled. I love shopping, it´s like my favourite thing in the world. But it was kind of weird because in school I thought you wore school uniform, at least that´s what I had done in Reading.
"Sounds great, but don´t you guys wear uniforms in school?" I asked and by the look of her face, it was a no.
"No, wait did you do that?" She asked and I nodded. She laughed and I gave her a friendly punch on her arm.
"Stop laughing and let´s go." I said but I couldn´t help but laugh too. Ten minutes later we were finished for the biggest shopping spree ever. We walked out from the apartment and I really hoped we wouldn´t run into anyone. I wanted it to be just me and Chloe today. It feels like I need that. Maybe I would think clearer about what I should do about all my problems if I would have fun for just one day. But there was something wrong and I had this feeling that someone was watching me.
"So, are there any good shops around here?" I asked and looked around wondering if the feeling was just in my mind or if it was true. I didn´t even want to think about option number two, it was too scary. I mean right now I could blame it all on Summer but what if it was something bigger or even more dangerous then Summer?
"There are a few around the corner you know nearby the park." She said and when I saw her calm face I understood that everything was just in my mind. We turned left and walked into "victoria secret" one of my absolute favourite shops.
"So what do you want to buy to blow Harry´s mind tomorrow? All the boys go to that school too." She said and I could see how well she belonged here in this store.
"I´m not sure. Give me some tips?" I asked and I could see on her face that it was exactly what she wanted to hear. After only a few minutes she had picked out a whole bunch of clothes and handed them over to me.
"Try this on." She said and sat down outside the changing rooms. I walked out with one outfit after another and Chloe either shook her head or made two thumbs up. The feeling of someone watching us was totally blown away and replaced by pure joy. After a few hours of intense shopping we sank down on a bench in the park. I took a sip of my coffee and Chloe one of her tea. We were totally exhausted and it felt like I couldn´t even move my toe, but I felt happy anyways. The afternoon had gone by without any bigger mishaps and finally it had just been me and Chloe. But then I saw something behind the tree, it was a dark shadow and the scary feeling took over me again. I couldn´t deny it anymore, it was absolutely clear, someone was following me and I don´t think it was someone nice and friendly. Even Chloe had noticed something because I felt how she got icecold to my left. Now I wondered if I should tell her about the phone call, but then I turned it down. If I told her about the phone call I would have to tell her about my secret.
"Am I going crazy or was it something behind that scary tree?" Chloe asked and pointed out the tree where I had seen the shadow. I was just about to tell her that I saw something too when I figured it would be easier to lie if I just would say it was a bird or something. So I laughed my fake laugh, but in my ears it sounded more like a sigh then a laugh.
"Chloe, it was just a bird." I said and gave her a smile.
"No, I swear to god..." She started but she got interrupted of my scream, someone had knocked on my shoulder.

I was just about to tell her that I saw something too when I figured it would be easier to lie if I just would say it was a bird or something. So I laughed my fake laugh, but in my ears it sounded more like a sigh then a laugh.
"Chloe, it was just a bird." I said and gave her a smile.
"No, I swear to god..." She started but she got interrupted of my scream, someone had knocked on my shoulder.
