The new start
Chapter ten, "The stubborn look"
"Amy, hello! Can you hear me?" I heard Louis voice somewhere in the background. Where am I? Then I remembered. I am in a tree house. Did I pass out? Shit! How embarrassing, was my first thought when I opened my eyes.
"It´s fine, I´m fine." I said but I was everything but fine. I don´t know why I had passed out and I´m not sure I wanted to either. Maybe it was because only a few days before I had murdered someone, or it had something to do with that everything went so fast forward that I couldn´t keep up with it. When I looked up at the five faces all I could see was doubt.
"Really?" The blond guy said, I had forgotten his name. It was something like Nate or Navid.
"Really." I assured and tried to prove it to them by lifting my head up. But it was like someone had put a stone in it. I couldn´t move it. It was a really scary feeling but I didn´t want to look weak in front of them so I just smiled my fake smile.
"You know that everyone can see that the smile is fake. We should take you home." Louis said and I could hear the seriousness in his voice. So I listened without protesting. There´s one thing that disappointed me though. I really thought my smile looked real.
"Carry her down carefully." Liam was standing on the ground and giving the other orders while I protested wildely even if I loved being taken care of like this.
"Seriously I can walk." I screamed. But they just gave me a look like. "Really, can you?" I sighed. Even if it was hard to believe. I actually got tired of this. I mean, all my life I had been taken care of myself and now I don´t even walk by myself. When we finally got down I entangled me out of all there arms, still impressed of how they got me down.
"Thank you. But I think I´ll be all right now." I said and felt like I needed to be alone. I swerved up from the ground and was just about to walk away when Louis shouted.
"No way, Niall can you walk her home?" The blond guy nodded. Of course Niall was his name. I really liked Louis he was so sweet. But that was just to much. When I was about to protest, he gave me a look. It was so stubborn I got speechless for a whole minute. So instead of protesting I nodded and me and Niall walked away from the tree house. He put his arm around me and I leaned against it while we were walking. Even if I didn´t confess it, it was actually really nice to have someone walk me home.
