As Willow skipped away, I couldn't help but look at her bum. As she turned the corner, Jacob was halfway down the hall, looking at me with anger.

I almost gasped in surprise as he grabbed me by my shirt.

"Listen, Styles. You may not think I know, but I know. I know you're fucking my best friend. I don't care what you do behind closed doors, but Styles, I'm warning you now. If you hurt her, in any way, physically or emotionally, I will beat your ass, then report you. You may think I'm kidding because I'm young, but I am not kidding. You got that?"

I just nodded. I'm not scared of Jacob. He won't hurt me. He wouldn't dare. However, I understand he's protecting his best friend, but come on. I'm not that bad of a person. I may be strict, but I'm not heartless. And I wouldn't hurt Willow. I love her.

"I know you don't trust me. But I'm not gonna hurt her," I replied.

"It's not that I don't trust you. I don't trust her. She doesn't know when to stop or how to care for herself."

"I understand, Jacob."

"I'll see you in sixth period," he said, turning away.

"Goodbye."

It was an odd encounter. If he doesn't trust her, why let her go out with anyone? Why trust me? If he trusts me enough to give her to me, he must trust me a lot.

And what does he mean that he doesn't trust her? Does she like me so much that she doesn't see that I've become destructive to her?

And does he really trust me? Or does he just want to give willow some space and try to let her see other people?

Whatever, I just need to stop thinking of all the negatives. Jake is giving me an oppurtunity. I don't know what will happen tomorrow, or even later today. I need to take this chance that I have and go for it.
