It Was Just a Night at the Bar
Chapter 4
I looked him up and down for a second before realizing that I hadn't invited him in.
"You can come in." i said, my voice softer than i thought it'd be.
He then walked in past me. I stood still, holding the door open even though he was already in my living room.
"Jacey, are you okay?" he asked me. I then quickly turned around, shutting the door in the process. I then stiffly nodded.
I didn't know why I felt so nervous and afraid of his presence. Maybe it was the fact that he had slept with me and i didn't remember a damn thing. That made me slightly more on edge with the thought of him having seen me naked and touching me without my knowledge of it. It was hard for me to talk to him without just wanting to cry, but it was only right to get to know him, and i truly wanted to. I could've asked him to leave easily, but it would've been a dick move on my part to let a guy in and shove him out the front door in a matter of seconds.
"I'm fine." i said walking over to the kitchen.
"Let's play a game." he said as he took steps closer to me from behind, causing me to freeze, afraid to move anywhere.
"W-What game?" i stuttered.
"I'll call it 'The Get to Know You' Game." he said trying to break our tension and make it seem as though i had been dating him or something by putting an arm around my waist. I didn't object his action but i wanted to ask him to stop too.
"H-How do you Pl-Play.?" i asked trying to get comfortable in his grasp, his curls brushing across my cheek as he said the next part into my ear.
"We ask eachother questions and we answer, whoever can't answer the question is the loser." I felt his lips touch my ear lobe, making me shiver under him.
"Okay." I said feeling myself lean toward the thoughts of Harry being a trustworthy, sweet, cute, sexy guy.
"How long have you worked at the pub?" he started to sway me from side to side.
"Two years." i responded. "What's your job?" i asked.
"I work with my friend Niall on song writing and help my friend Zayn show case his artwork." he replied. "Do you like music?" he asked, the smile prominent in his voice.
"Yes." i said smiling back. "Do you like the city?"
"Yes. I've wanted to live here ever since i was little." he responded, stopping the swaying motion. "Were you a virgin?" he asked his voice having a tinge of concern. I was getting the feeling Harry felt more guilty about last night than i had thought.
"No." i said reassuring him. "Do you want me to be just another girl from the bar." i asked, turning to look into his dark green eyes.
"Of course not. I wouldn't have asked to come here if i did." he said as he looked down at me. "You seemed different." he said brushing the loose strands of hair from my face. Being this close to him seemed familiar, and i didn't think it was possible.
"You did too." I said as i started to vaguely remember how the night played out.
