Gabriela POV

I was the happiest girl in the world, nothing could bring me down now I have my baby by my side. He is my everything, I wouldn’t want to lose what we have he completes the other half of my life.

We reached to the party, all the ladies and gents were all looking at the both of us.

Denis: “Keep calm don’t freak out, fake smiles and fake gestures.”

He whispered in my ears, and it worked wow I never knew that working in a business would be filled with fake people.

Denis went to the bar, to grab us a couple of drinks when a gentleman approached me.

Random guy: “Are you seeing someone beautiful?, can I buy you a drink?.”

Denis: “Hey pal back off, she is my territory nobody gets to buy her drinks except me.”

Random guy: “Denis you asshole you, I am so glad to see you in this party you have a hot girlfriend keep an eye on this candy.”

Denis: “Jack be nice, this is Gabriela she is an aspiring dancer.”

Jack: “Please is all mine my lovely lady.”

Denis: “Get away from here, you girlfriend stealer.”

They both shared a laugh, quite frankly I found it awkward. This girl approaches our table, and starts kissing Denis on both cheecks.

Denis: “What are you doing here, Rachel I wasn’t expecting you to come here.”

Rachel: “I just happen to be free tonight, and who is this lovely date?.”

Me: “Gabriela, and your name?.”

Rachel: “Rachel, well it is a pleasure to meet you both I shall see you tomorrow in the office Denis.”

I don’t like the way this bitch was looking at me, up and down giving me that look like ‘you are not welcomed here’.

Me: “Does you assistant have a problem with me, I will confront her if she seems to be having one.”

Denis: “Can you please calm down babe, it is nothing serious let’s just enjoy the night please?.”

Me: “If you are just going to be calm about this, maybe I should leave the party.”

Denis: “Gabriela please not now, I haven’t seen you in a very long time and you are like this. What can I do to her right now?, fire her on the spot she hasn’t done anything wrong.”

Me: “Has not done anything wrong and she gave me dirty looks, you know what Denis maybe I need sometime for my self.”

I got up from my seat, and I went outside the party venue. I have never been looked like that ever in my life, why did she give me this type of looks did I do something wrong?.
