Psychic Love...
Day at the Carnival.... And a New Friend-ish
There were people everywhere! Kids with clownfaces and adults with henna. I looked at Izzy nervously,
"Iz you know I don't like clowns," I mumbled to her,
"pardon? I can't hear you! Lets go in!!" Izzy shouted. She grabbed my arm and pulled me along. The longer we spent walking past the stalls with candles and relaxing kinds of smells coming from them, the more loose and relaxed I was becoming. I saw a stall selling sarongs and I quickly pulled Izzy with me. We modeled a few but I decided on a moss green one and Izzy wanted a pink one. We payed and toyed them around each other and I skipped off.
Izzy didn't notice for a few seconds, but when I called her name she laughed and ran up to where I was and we liked arms. We skipped off together until Izzy saw a psychic's stall where they were saying that you would get your real fortune read. Izzy was jumping excitedly and talking in gibberish.
"Izzy, dude calm down." I said placing my hands gently on her shoulders, "Do you really want to go in there. 'Cause I'll go first,"
"Yeah you go first!" She giggled. I put my money into the box at the front of the stall and went in. There was no one waiting so I just went and pulled back the curtain. Oh my gosh, the hottest guy was sitting in front of me. I walked in slowly until he motioned me forward. I put my bag and my phone on the table in front of him and sat down. My god, those curls! He didn't look up at me but when I sat down he murmured,
"Welcome to the psychic stall. My name is Harry, and yours is......?"
"Charlie. My name is Charlie." I said quickly. He finally looked up at me when I said my name. His eyes were the first thing that I saw. They were so deep and mysterious. And so green! He was smiling at me. He was just perfect! Oh wait he's talking to me!
"Um sorry what were you saying?" I asked, I could feel my cheeks getting red,
"Give me your hand please," he chuckled, he looked once more up at me, then stared at the hand that I had offered him.
"Mmmmm.... Let me see, have you been in a long term relationship recently?" He asked, eyes still riveted onto my palm.
"Yes.........how did you know that?!" I whispered. Would he know that Cal and I had just broken it off too?
"It's all written in your palm, and that relationship broke off recently didn't it?"
"Yes," I squeaked. I'm not usually a weak person, but Harry was making me relive things that I didn't want to.
"You see, this long, faint line here is abruptly broken," he said , looking at me.
"Yeah it is!" What is happening? I can see that line but I didn't mean anything! Does it?
"And I can guarantee that you will fall in love with another man." He said chuckling, "He will have curly hair green eyes and dimples."
"I bet you say that to all the girls that come in here," I said. How can I be so STUPID?! Ughh!!
"Just the beautiful ones." He smiles, looking at me slyly.
"We'll thank you for that session, it was lovely to meet you and goodbye!" I turned on my heel and walked out of the tent. I grabbed Izzy as I walked and said,
"Dude we're leaving. Now."
"But, but, but.." She stuttered,
"No buts."
