~~Claire's POV~~


I walked out the door in my outfit(Her Outfit). There was Louis' car, waiting for me.

I hopped into the passenger seat and closed the door.

"Hey Claire!" Louis said all of a sudden.

"Hey." I mumbled.

Louis started driving again and I got bored and it got silent so I turned on the radio. They were playing How To Save A Life by The Fray. I gasped in happiness and turned it up.

"You like The Fray?" Louis asks over the music.

"Who doesn't!?" I questioned.

After I said that Louis formed a smile on his face as he sang along to the song.

"2 tickets for Runner Runner please." Louis said to the lady. The woman looked up and almost freaked out. She looked about my age. 1 or 2 years younger tho.

"O-o-ok..... H-here you g-go." She stuttered in complete excitement handing us the ticket. When Louis handed her the money she stared at it in awe.

"Seriously? Runner Runner? I have been wanting to see that for a while! It has Justin Timberlake in it!" I started fangirling and when I realized I wasn't with Samantha I immediately stopped and it felt a bit awkward. Louis chuckled at my stupidness.

"Yea, Justin is a nice guy. He's really cool." He said.

My jaw hung open.

"You..... Met..... The..... One.... And..... Only?!" I started freaking out and asking him questions and everything. But he only started to laugh more.

"No, Justin doesn't only date models but you're too young to date 'The One And Only'" Louis said mocking my voice as he went on laughing. I gave him a glare which only made him laugh more and it also made me laugh.

We walked into the room our movie would be in and sat down at the top row.

Halfway through the movie I felt something brush against my hand. I looked down and saw that Louis was intertwining our fingers together.

Wait a second.

Hold the phone.

And push the brakes.

Was this meant to be.... A date?

I started freaking out on the inside. I was about to snatch my hand away but I didn't want to offend Louis. I can't make someone sad. You all know it's my weakness!

I let the movie finish before we had to get up and collect the popcorn and drinks. When we did he had to let go. I wasn't happy about it but I mean I didn't care.

As we walked out I threw away our stuff and we walked down the hallway outside the theater.

"That movie was awesome." Louis blurted out. I just nodded, being the nervous person I am. This was supposed to be a date. I let him hold my hand and I agreed to watch this movie. I went too far and now he thinks I like him. Wait..... Maybe it wasn't a date maybe he was.... Showing a friendly gesture.

I decided to ask now. Better late than never, right?

"Louis?" I said as we walked outside.

"Hmmm?"

"Was this supposed to be a d-date?" I asked stuttering when I said the word date.

When I asked he looked surprised. Oh my gosh, it was! He expected me to know this was a date, didn't he?! He thought for a few minutes before replying.

"Yes." He answered my question with confidence as we entered the car.

Ok, Louis is freakishly hot and all but..... I can't be with him. I know how these things end. And it never ends well. Someone always ends up unhappy at the end. Even in fairytales.

"Louis..... I can't." I got out in barely a whisper.

"What do you mean?" He asked

"I mean, I know how these things end. They never turn out well. Something bad always happens. Someone cheats and someone lies. Someone does something and nobody ends up happy. Everything ends in heartbreak." I explained.

Louis just nodded his head and didn't say anything else the rest of the ride to my house.

I waved bye to Louis but he just looked at me and looked away.

Great now he thinks I'm a romance nerd who watched romantic movies all the time and have the bad endings stuck in my head. He thinks I'm some sort of idiot.

I thought to myself as I closed the front door behind me. I heard a scream and the running of feet. I got startled but then I saw Samantha running through the hallway. She jumped on me and gave me a hug.

I forgot I gave her my spare key.

"Tell me EVERY. LITTLE. DETAIL." She demanded as she pushed me towards the living room.

**Louis' POV**


I walked into the hotel and saw Ryan and Niall playing COD.

"Ryan, what's up with your sister?!" I asked a bit angry. Immediately he paused the game and gave me a look.

"What did you do?" He asked sternly.



I told him the whole story and he was about to answer but it took a moment of hesitation.

"Look, it's not her fault, ok? Just don't blame it on her. She doesn't trust guys anymore because well..... She thinks they're heartless idiots." Ryan said.

"Are you serious? Well I'm not a heartless idiot! Why can't she just do it?" I asked.

"Louis." Ryan sighed. "When she was 8 she got sent home from school early because she was sick. Mom dropped her off in the driveway then went back to work. But when she walked inside the house she... Caught our dad cheating...... Well what he did was beyond cheating but that's not the point. She couldn't have the heart to tell our mom so I did and she watched heartbreak happen in front of her...... All the yelling and fights. It's a really long story but that sums it up." He finally got out.

I felt like an idiot.

"So?" I asked.

"SO! She watched heartbreak happen and it also happened to her...... Probably 6 times. Imagine being 8 years old and walking in on your own father that you look up to everyday doing it with some 20 year old girl! All the guys she has ever known have been jerks to her except me!" Ryan yelled.

I was surprised. I didn't know Ryan could get this mad.

"Sorry." I apologized.

"Nah, mate. It's ok. But if you ever do get her to go out with you I give you my blessing." Ryan chuckled and went back to playing COD with Niall.

"Hmph...... Well okay then." I mumbled to myself as I walked to my room. How was I ever going to get her to go out with me?
