As I searched my closet for a outfit, I was unsure on what I would be wearing. This was the first time I’ve seen my mom since I “left” It was all a blur at first, but she was the
first person I came too.

At the time, my mom was at a business trip in Italy. I paid for the next ticket, and shipped my clothes and car along with me. I remember it all.

*Flashback*

I had nowhere to go…where would I go..Money wasn’t the problem…The problem was I didn’t know anyone besides my tight circle of friends…and well…I fled from them…

I only had one person left…Mom.

I quickly pulled over, and dialed her.

Mom…

Hey honey, whatsup?

Mom…where are you…

Honey…what’s wrong..what happened..

I need to see you…i…I need to visit dad…and I need to see you…I …I don’t know….what’s going on…please…please mom. I sobbed loudly..

Buy a plane ticket…I’m in Sicily…Ship your car, and luggages…and we’ll go visit dad together…He’s buried near the house in Palermo..Ok…Sweetie…Don’t cry…

You know I’ll be here for you, through thick or thin..

OK mommy…ok…I’ll call you when I’m there …

I ended the call, letting out a deep sigh.

As I reached the airport, I parked my car into the shipping area.

“Mam…That’ll be 2,500…You can leave the luggages in the trunk, they’ll be shipped and in Italy’s Airport Storage by tomorrow morning..” I just nodded, handing him the credit card.

On returning my credit card, he held my hand looking down at me.



“Everything’s going to be okay..” And I believed him.
