We crash into the wall behind Louis, both of us grunting as we hit the brick. I quickly take over, my large body over his in seconds. My fist connects with his jaw twice before he’s able to shove me off of him, his own lick placed on my nose. An annoying beep started, it’s rhythm slow but steady. I pushed it out of my head and brought my arms up to block my face before knocking him in the gut, causing him to hunch over from the blow.

“Harry!” Liam shouts, trying to catch my attention but I ignore him.

I’m suddenly standing over Louis has he kicks a leg at me, flipping himself up to match my stance. The beep continues at a steady pace, quickly getting on my nerves as Louis lunges at me. His fist connects with my cheek bone, the power behind the blow causing me to stumble sideways a bit.

“Harry would you listen?!” Liam yells in my ear, his heavy hands gripping my shirt as he steadies me.

“Listen to what?” I snap, glaring at the boy in front of me, waiting for him to strike.

“To her heart beat.” Liam snaps back, causing me to still.

The room goes quiet as we all listen, the beep from earlier making so much more sense now. My heart races in my chest as I listen, relief crashing over me like a tidal wave. I smile to myself, happy that she’s okay just for it to all disappear as the steady beep turns into one long one, seeming to never end.

In seconds I find myself standing in the room I had put Anna end. My eye dart to the bed, finding it empty and the leather restraints broken. She’s okay. Missing, but okay.

“Find her!” I shout, turning on my heel to meet every set of eyes.

“Find who?” A sweet voice calls out from behind Zayn, causing him to jump and step aside, revealing the girl I wanted to see.

“How are you feeling?” I ask, my voice much more calm than it was earlier.

“Fine. Are you gonna beat up everybody I sleep with? If so, you need to hit a little closer to home.” She says, her voice silky smooth as she reaches up, her little fingers twisting a small curl in Zayn’s hair.

His cheeks redden and he avoids my eyes, locking eyes with Liam. That’s when I knew.

“You didn’t.” I state, hoping she was lying.

“Oh, but he did.” Anna purrs, her dark brown eyes trailing up Zayn’s body. I felt my anger rise, clenching my fists by my sides.

“Isn’t that right, Liam? After all, you were there too.” She coos as she sashays over to him.

I see Liam stiffen, his eyes wide as she called him out as well. I can’t believe it. Two of my best mates, two people that I have considered as brothers for hundreds of years have betrayed my trust. They have betrayed my loyalty.

“Harry, I can explai-” Liam starts but I shut him down.

“Save it. I don’t want to hear it.” I snap, glaring at him.

He opens his mouth and I growl, clenching my fists again. He closes it, deciding it was better to keep quiet than to speak.

“Oh now, now, Harry. Let’s not be rude.” Anna taunts as she makes her way over to me.

“Leave.” I command, never taking my eyes off of the girl before me. I see the others leave quickly out of the corner of my eyes, some of the tension leaving my body with them.

“Hm, something tells me you’re not in a good mood.” She muses, her dark eyes sparkling up at me in a new way. What has gotten into her?

“How are you feeling?” I ask, crossing my arms over my chest.

Anna’s POV

“How are you feeling?” He rasps, anger still clear in his voice. I roll my eyes at him, sauntering over to the medical bed. I lift myself up onto it easily, loving how everything I do seems to need to effort.

“Good, I guess.” I say, shrugging as I look at my nails. I frown, seeing my once beautiful nails bitten down and ragged looking.

“You guess?” He questions, making me start to get aggravated with him. Why does he have to ask so many questions?

“Yeah. I feel fine. Well, I think I do.” I admit, frowning.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” He questions, causing me to sigh.

“I can’t really feel anything. Emotionally. I can feel angry and aggravated but I can’t really feel anything else.” I confess, sighing again as I look down at my nails.

“Would you pay attention to me for just one second?” He snaps, his body appearing between my knees as one finger lifts my chin up to make my eyes meet his.

“Of course.” I smirk, scooting forward on the small mattress so the front of my body was pressed up against his.

I grin as his cheeks turn pink as he backed up a bit, making me frown. He wasn’t rejecting my touch before.

“Don’t you want me?” I ask him, tilting my head to the side as I watched him.

He shifts from foot to foot uncomfortably, swallowing hard.

“I do, but not while you’re like this.” He says, his voice a little raspier than usual.

“Like what?” I ask, narrowing my eyes at him.

“You don’t know what you are doing and I’m not going to take advantage of that. We can pick up from here when we get you fixed.” Harry says, reaching for me but I swat his hand away angrily.

“I know exactly what I’m doing, Harry. I’m just not shy anymore. I’m perfectly fine, I’m not broken or f.ucked up. If anything, I’m better than before. If anything I am FIXED not broken.” I snap as I slide down from the bed, stomping out of the room.

If I was a silly little human I would be ashamed and embarrassed from the rejection but I’m not. I’m better than that now. I’m a better version of me, a stronger one. If he won’t give me what I want then I’ll go find it else where.
