Dakota POV
"this is boring" I whisper to my best friend. We're currently in English and my teacher is a real bitch she's going on and on about women's rights and about some assignment

what's strange is Harry hasn't bothered me at all day, I mean it is only 3rd period but still his friends have left me alone to. I glance around the room looking for him moving my lavender hair out of my face to get a better look. I finally find him and he's already staring at me, I sit up but eyes still locked with him. He coughs and turns his head back around. I'm still stating when I hear my name being called

"Dakota did you hear a word I said?" Damn Harry for getting me all distracted, ok well I guess it was my fault but still

"Dakota!" She yells at me shit

"no sorry ms." I quietly say

"well in detention you can re read the lesion and do the work sheet there" she turns back to the board and a few people giggle

I look at Lia who's giving me a sympathetic look, and then I glance back at Harry who's staring at the clock figures. The hour drags on for what seems 4 hours tell finally there's 3 minutes left

"ok class so I posted the partner pairs on the back of the door, remember no complaining about who your working with, it's supposed to be of the opposite sex and no switching!"

I groan and make my way towards the door? Lia is already up in line first one actually. "Guess what!" She squels which is a first

"just tell me who you got" I lightly laugh so she doesn't know I'm bored

"jake" she whispers I'm confused as to why she's whispering and then I see Louis walking towards us past the teacher

jakes a really sweet guy in out class I'm not surprised she's excited he's also not bad looking.

"Did you see who I got?" I ask her
"no sorry I wasn't thinking"

i brush past past her to look at the list, figures my name is last. I glide my ginger directly across my name and My heart nearly jumps out of my chest. I can't decide if I'm annoyed or angry.


"What time do you want me for detention?" I walk up to my teacher

"obviously when school is over tell 3:40" I bite my tongue to stop from saying something back and nod my head

I walk out the door to see my partner waiting for me

"hey so I was thinking you do all the work and slap my name on it" he smirks

"umm no this is 45% our grade and there's no way I can do the work by myself" I begin to walk towards my locker annoyed he's following

"yeah but I have a life" he says I turn to face him to see he's already rather close, I back up and take a deep breath that annoying smirk on his face is evident and I want to slap him

"if you don't help I will tell and request a partner that's willing to work" I open my locker and proceed to grab books

"no switching remember?"
the smirk

"well I think she's willing to make a exception if said partner is not willing to do anything" I finally smirk at him he seems to be thinking the logic over before sighing.

"Alright alright" he penches the bridge of his nose Before speaking again

"I'll come over at 7" I nod it's a bit late but I have detention anyways

"good see ya then" he walks away and I look after him seeing his friends waiting for him

"bye Harry" i say as I close my locker

Hey! I'm back for good now that schools almost over I can update more so expect a double update tonight!

This chapter was short because it's mostly about the authors note but I made it into 2 parts. also if you saw the wattpad update I made just forget it hehe
and I have the whole plot planned out so hopefully the story will be a lot better then when I was winging it 6months ago also my chapters will be longer lol. I missed you guys <3 k bye

oh oh ps. I sort of changed the beginning plot to where Dakota isn't bullied Harry's just a annoying ass hole. But please keep reading I think you'll be very shocked by how the story goes. And my stupid authors notes will be shorter haha.
