“What’s on your mind babe?” I breathed out, and spoke: “I just wanted to know from you personally what went wrong with your dad at your party. Harry I’m here not only to love you, I’m here to listen to you and help you as much as I can. (He sighed, while I placed his head on my lap and started fiddling with his hair.) Come on baby, tell me what went off?” I have to do this so that he can let out all his negative thoughts; he helped me and so will I, because this is how we stay strong with each other.
“Well, I don’t think I told you about my father before, but to sum it up; he left me when I was 7, surely my sister was older; but still it hurt her too… (He has a sister? I didn’t know that. Poor baby his dad left him.) I had to put on the man of the house uniform after he abandoned our family… and I guess that’s why he showed up on my birthday to ask me for money. (Oh no, He’s crying! No Harry please don’t! He choked on his tears, as he dug his face in my lap on the left side, and his hands held my knees strongly.)” I never saw him get like this in front of me before; and I never want to see him like this ever again.
“Harry… (I continued to brush his hair with my hand, while his sobbing decreased a little.) You don’t need someone who doesn’t need you. Look where you are now, you are one of the most blessed, and successful 20 year old young man on this globe. (I noticed he stopped crying, as I smiled to myself and kept going.) Your dad will always be your parent baby, and I am proud of you for being this strong and made your dreams come true with your own power and will. You shouldn’t cry, because your tear drops could be sold on EBay! Hahahahah. (I heard him chuckle, that’s a lot better.) Yes Harry, laugh and forget the old footsteps you placed in your memory. Your future must be a recovery of the old events, and not a crying session over what pain you passed through. Harry you are my rock that I rely on for strength, never cry again cutey pie; calm down.”
He lifted his head from my lap and tapped his lips with mine softly; while my thumb wiped his frozen tears on his cheeks. “(He slowly departed his lips form mine to talk.) You know something? Tomorrow is a very special day. (He smirked.) Cancel your outing with the girls, and let’s invite them here instead; along with the boys; what do you say baby?” Tomorrow is a special day?! Ok what am I missing? No, it’s not my birthday, nor is it Christmas, nor Valentine’s Day… Ok I’m lost. “(He embraced me and started planting kisses on my forehead nonstop.) I don’t mind at all babe, but what’s tomorrow’s occasion?” I felt a smile draw on his face, as he stopped kissing my forehead and spoke:“It’s the last day of the same month I announced a beautiful nurse as the love of my life.”
Oh my god! That’s true! Our 1st anniversary! God, I’m so stupid! I turned to plant a peck on his lips and he whispered after it was over: “Just promise me that you’ll never leave?” I smiled and cupped his cheeks with my hands. “Never Harry, I love you.” He brushed a strand of my hair behind my ear and nuzzled our noses together.
“And I’ll never leave you, which is why you’ll be sleeping with papa Styles tonight in his bed!” I couldn’t control myself from laughing at his comment; I only pray the lord that he keeps laughing and forget the meaning of crying. “(He carried my body bridal style, and we both were still chuckling.) Of course you can carry me up the stairs, don’t bother asking! Hehe.” He giggled and took us up the stairs to relax; well maybe a little bit of fun before we shared a good night sleep in each other’s arms.
