I broke the silence by turning my heels and walking off from the dance floor, if only that happened with no interruptions; he dragged my wrist and pulled me closer to his chest. “(He hissed.) What in God’s name do you think you are doing?” I looked at him as if I am seeing a Harry Styles that I never got to know; why is he like this!? “(I warned him calmly.) Let go of my hand, Harry.” He smirked negatively and replied: “Why? So you can proceed making Niall’s package grow between his legs?” Excuse me!? That’s it, no more patience! “Thank you for making it clear for me that I was a cheap shot from the beginning.” I pulled my wrist forcefully from his hand and stomped my heels to go back up the lounge; I can’t stay any minute longer with him being like this.
“Becky wait!” Liam stopped me soon as I grabbed my purse from the table. “Honey, let it go; he’s not himself trust me. Just stay and ignore him, if not for him then for me and the rest; please?” Liam tried his best to talk to me, while Sophia rubbed my back; how can I stay after hearing such insults!? I am certainly not staying after what I just heard and how I have been treated! “I’m sorry, I’m just tired and I need to leave. Enjoy the evening.” I walked away, but yet again Louis was the one to stop me this time.
“(He stood in front of me.) Don’t you dare leave. Becky, please stay and don’t even give him any attention. (He sighed.) He clearly lost it after he saw his um…” I nodded for Louis to go on, so that’s why Harry has changed?! Who ruined my boyfriend!? “His who, Louis?” I spoke coldly, as he bit his lower lip, and took me a little bit further from the table. “I don’t think I should be the one telling you this darling, but I did see him from the corner of my eye while we were drinking up here… I don’t know if anyone told you, but um… (He breathed.) Harry’s isn’t a big fan of his father.”
Let me get this straight, Harry isn’t on a good base with his father, and something happened downstairs between them; that’s why he drank a little too much and came back trying to avoid any question asked. So he blew up on me and he became this evil wreck just so he could hide his pain? Why do I feel guilty in an indirect way now?
“Louis, can you please just give him this? (I took out the box from my purse, and placed it in his hand.) I need to leave; this is a lot for me to deal with… I need to clear my mind, I’m sorry.” I hugged Louis, and walked downstairs, I never have thought that tonight would be so dramatic and negative for me. Why hasn’t Harry told me about anything from this till now…?
“Where do you think you’re going?” The familiar growl plotted behind me, as it sent shivers up my spine. “(I spoke coldly.) Go celebrate the rest of your evening, Harry…” I didn’t even turn back; I just walked out of the door, and left the loud atmosphere that painted my life in black and depressing grey.
“Miss Blake, are you leaving? Shall I drive you?” Bernie asked me from the Limo, as he noticed me outside. “Take me home Bernie, please…” I chocked on my tears that started to form, and I rode the back of the Limo in silence of words. I was crying for many reasons, not only because of the mistreatment that I got, but also for Harry’s sake. I could have stayed at least? No, I did the right thing. My dignity and self respect are above everything. Does this mean we aren’t together anymore…?
