…. At Dinner ….

Rebeca's POV:

“How was your day Becky?” My aunt asked as we 3 were having a decent meal. “It was really hectic; I never knew that I could get emotional from the patients' situation. I guess they should have trained us on how to control ourselves back at medical school. (I felt nick rubbing my back for comfort directly.) I am assigned to the coma section, so it was really hard seeing everybody just sleeping deeply with no action what so ever.”My aunt was listening carefully, and so was my caring partner. “Babe, you are always like that. It’s your natural character trait; but ya I believe that you need to control yourself as the time goes by.” Nick was so caring to comfort me in his truthful words, even my aunt was nodding when he was speaking.




“You’re in the coma section? Then you must have heard of the international star that’s already in for D.W.I (D.W.I: Driving While Intoxicated, as in drunk driving.)” I looked confused at my aunt as she told me something I didn’t hear of at all. “(She rubbed her forehead trying to remember something.) I think he’s the guy from you know that very popular boy band…? Ugh I swear I remember reading his name in the paper yesterday. I think it’s-…” Nick directly cut my aunt off and spoke: “Is it that story about One Direction? That Harry Styles lad?” The thickness of nick’s British accent made me hear that name slower. It rang in my ear as the record broke and the name kept repeating: Harry… Harry… Harry…




“Yes! That’s the one I meant. It was sad to read the news; did you by any chance meet him?” To be honest I really wasn’t a person, who was updated on the hottest artists and billboard selection, and besides my song genre was more classical; but is she talking about the same Harry I met? That beautiful man that broke my heart for being asleep in illness? “Becky? Are you ok honey?” My aunt’s voice took me out of my thoughts and brought me back to reality; I nodded and then took a bite from my fork.




“I don’t know, but I did meet a patient called Harry today, does he have like wavy/curly long hair?” I asked as I gave a clue to connect the dots with my aunt and Nick. “Yes love that’s him.” Nick spoke and I tried to maintain my excitement that started rushing deeper into my insides. So Harry is in a boy band called One Direction? What about Louis? I need to do some research tonight before I sleep.




…. After Dinner ….




I was standing outside on my porch with Nick, as he was planning on leaving.“I promise that this weekend we will go out and have our time, just focus on your job love; deal?” I nodded as I frowned to the fact that I can’t see Nick every day. We both have jobs, but mine was in the hospital; whereas his is in an engineering company. We both met at university, and even though we had different majors; we still had our eyes at each other. He was basically known to be the most well known guy around campus; so it was easy to locate him and vise versa. “Don’t frown (He ran his thumb up and down over my right cheek.)” I smiled and kissed him good night, as he left to his car.




I went upstairs and searched for my aunt, because I needed to ask her something very important. “Aunt Chloe?” I knocked on her bedroom door, and I heard her speak from behind it: “Come in honey.” I twisted the door knob, and walked in slowly, as she was already in her bed; ready to sleep with her Pjs on.”I just need to ask you, is it possible if I swing by you for lunch tomorrow? We could talk about the issue which is making you depressed a lot lately?” She sighed and crossed her hands; but we really needed to talk about this though. “We both know what it is, so why do we have to open it up again?” I groaned and spoke: “Because I don’t like seeing my mom and aunt sad from each other?” She was quite for about 4 seconds, just looking at me.




“I’m not sad from your mom, and neither is she. But she keeps telling me that I am not taking care of you like I should. I know why she keeps telling me such stuff over again; it’s because I never got married isn’t it?” I directly shook my head, just to avoid more depression initials. “No don’t say that. You are really treating me perfectly and my mom is only saying that because she worries a lot, just like me. You don’t need to be married to know about parenting (I leaned in and hugged her as we both sat on her bed.)”




We dropped the hug and I told her goodnight, before I left to my room and changed for a relaxing sleep. Thank god I have work at 12:00 pm tomorrow; this means I will get the sleep that I want. But wait, I said I will research One Direction? I jumped from under the covers and grabbed my Mac Book to research about this band; I just need to see his face again.

Notes

Ok this was a very interesting chapter! We learned so much about our characters right? For starters, Aunt Chloe is a middle aged woman who never was married, which we can link to how much she drowns herself in her business. But, she does treat Rebeca well, and she is really close to her; what scares me is this repulsion force between Rebeca's Mom and Aunt. (Y) And Nicholas is really kind and sweet I guess, his actions seemed to tell us that he is caring right? <3 :D I think Rebeca will start to change her musical interests after she researches One Direction, and as you all noticed; her main interest is her prince patient, Harry Styles. <3


But, Surely she just admires him and feels sorry for him right? Or is it something else? Is it even possible? What about the 3 fascinating guys? Will we meet them in the next chapter? How will Rebeca feel tomorrow? :O:O:O
