Liam’s P.O.V.

My mum told me Danielle was still at their place. She also told me Danielle would talk, eat, or drink. This was all my fault. I didn’t know exactly how to feel right now. I had my job, a career, and I didn’t know if I could handle a child. A family. But I would do anything for Danielle. I had spent two sleepless nights wondering if what I was doing now was going to leave me broken or not. No, I needed to talk to Danielle.

Taking a deep, shaky breath, I made my way to the front door of my house, ringing the doorbell. I held my phone tightly in my hand.

The door was opened by my mother.

“Liam?” she said quietly, looking up at me.

“Mum, I’m so sorry, mum.” I sobbed, letting tears fall. She bit her lip and kissed my cheek, then gestured upstairs.

“You need to go talk to Danielle.”

I nodded, slipping my shoes off before heading upstairs. I carefully opened my bed room door to see Danielle sitting on my bed, crying softly. She didn’t even look up until I spoke.

“Danielle.”

When her head shot up, I could tell she hadn’t slept or eaten. Her face looked frail and unhealthy. And yet, she was still so beautiful.

“What do you want?” she spat, wiping away tears.

“Danielle, I’m so sorry.” I whispered, walking towards her. She immediately scooted over on the bed, moving away from her. Her teeth were chattering ,and her body was shivering.

“You…You left me.”

I bit my lip, trying not to cry. “I know. And I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. I was just so over whelmed, and afraid. I didn’t know what to do. So I left.”

Danielle sighed, flicking a tear off her cheek. “Are you still afraid?”

“I honestly am, yes.” I nodded, sitting down at the edge of the bed. She didn’t move away this time.

“Do you hate me for this?” she asked quietly, erupting into tears once again.

“Of course not. I love you.” I protested, looking into her bloodshot eyes.

“Are you going to leave me again?” she sniffled, peering into my eyes with her beautiful golden brown ones.

“No. No, I won’t. I’m sorry that I left you earlier.”

Danielle went silent, lying her head on my pillow.

“You told Aria about this, didn’t you?” she smiled weakly after a while. I was a bit shocked, but I slowly nodded.

“I knew you would. You guys are like brother and sister. I bet you tell each other everything.” She smiled again, this time more fully.

“Yeah. And she’s honestly the one who told me to come see you. I’m glad I did as she told.”

“How would we provide?” Danielle questioned, starting to get technical.

“We could work something out, I’m sure.”

“Liam, my parents aren’t going to be happy about this.” Danielle sighed, as if she’d just remembered.

“I think my mum is a bit upset as well, but we can’t do anything about it now.”

“There’s always adoption or ab-“

“No way in hell, Danielle.”

“Liam, I’m don’t know I’m ready for this.” Danielle sighed, placing her hand on her stomach. I took a deep breath, getting ready to say what I knew was right.

“I don’t know if I am either. But what I do know, is that ready or not, I’m not giving up our child for anything.”

Danielle cracked a grin.

“Really?”

“Positive.”
