Just can't let her go
Chapter 7
Haley's POV
"Maybe I should apologize to Sam," I say twirling my finger around on Harry's chest. He smiles and kisses me on the nose.
"Whatever you like," He says thoughtfully though I can tell he is having a hard time doing 'girl talk'.
"Are you even listening?" I ask sitting up.
He sighs. "Sorry babe. I'm just not into talking about girly things."
I lean down and plant a kiss on his lips before getting up. He props himself up on his elbow.
"Where are you going?" He asks. I walk over to my dresser and pull out a simple top and jeans.
"I promised Jackson I would help him study," I say. I look over my shoulder and see Harry frowning.
"You're ditching me to go hang out with Jackson?" He asks.
"First off, I'm not ditching you. Second, we are just going to study." I say. He pokes his lip out begging me not to go. I walk into the bathroom and change.
When I walk out, I find Harry sitting on my bed without his shirt on. Tattoo's cover his toned chest but it fits him.
"Lose your shirt?" I ask.
He smirks. "Well since you won't listen to me, maybe I can convince you to stay."
I walk over to him and kiss him. He latches his hands onto my hips and tries to pull me closer. I run my fingers through his thick curls as he explores my mouth with his tounge.
"Harry.." I moan. I pull away quickly before he can deepen the kiss.
He crosses his arms and scoffs. "Can't believe your leaving me."
I throw my dirty shirt at him and grab my phone and bag. "You know where the door is," I say before walking downstairs and leaving.

"Hey Haley!" Jackson says as I walk inside. I set my bag on the counter and walk over to his dining room table and sit down.
"Thirsty?" He asks. I nod and he tosses me a can of soda. I slide my phone into my lap and pull my math book out. He sits beside me and does the same.
A few hours later, I think Jackson finally gets math. He smiles and closes his book. My phone vibrates and I sigh as I see another text from Harry.
"You okay?" Jackson asks.
"Oh yeah." I say. He walks over to his cabinet and pulls two bags of chips out. He throws one to me then sits back down.
"So what's the deal with you and Sam?" He asks. He dumps the crumbs into his mouth, a few falling onto his shirt.
"Well..." I'm about to tell him about Harry and I but he might get the wrong idea and get mad at me. "She is just mad because I've changed a bit."
He nods. "Yeah. Since when do you get kicked out of class and tattoos?"
I pull up my shirt over my tattoo and bite my lip. "Everyone needs a change."
"Getting back to the point, the three of us have been friends since pre-k. You can't let some boy get in between you two." He says.
"Jealous much?" I ask. He raises his eye brows and shakes his head.
"How about we go to dinner?" He suggests.
"Umm," I say. Either way Harry is going to be mad. If I don't go to dinner with Jackson, Harry is going to be mad because he asked me and if I do, he will get the wrong idea about me and Jackson.
"Uh, sure. But not as a date." I say quickly.
"Nah. I've already got too many ladies falling for me." He flexes his muscles and I scoff.
"Please. The only one you have falling over you is your mom." I say.
He clutches his heart, playfully. "That hurt. Real bad."
I roll my eyes and see another text from Harry. "Uh, Jackson? I'll be right back."
I walk over to the bathroom and lock the door. As I dial Harry's number, I can already tell this is going to be a bad.
"Harry?" I ask.
"Haley. It's about damn time you called me! I was getting worried." He says with a hint of anger on his voice.
"I'm fine. Jackson invited me to go to dinner with him." I cringe, waiting for him to explode.
"What? No!" He says.
"Harry you can't control me. He's my friend and he won't do anything." I say.
"Fine you can go but only if I can tag along." He says.
"Harry...." I start.
"No buts. I'll be over there in a minute." He says before hanging up. I sigh and walk out the bathroom.
"Is it okay if Harry tags along?" I ask. I expect him to be mad but he just shrugs it off.
"Sure." He says. A minute after that a knock on the door sounds. I walk over to the door and answer it.
"Hey babe," Harry says, walking in. He gives me a quick kiss than looks at Jackson.
"Hey man," Jackson says. He walks over and shakes Harrys hand. I have to admit this is alittle bit awkward.
"Where are we going?" I ask. They both look at me and shrug. Gosh they are helpless.
"Okay how about Martin's?" I suggest.
"The burger place?" Harry asks. I nod and he smiles. Jackson locks his door and we all pile into Harry's car.
"This should be fun," Jackson mumbles as we slide into the backseat. Harry turns around and gives me a smile before starting the engine.

"That was fun. Thanks Jackson." I say as Harry drops him off. He says goodbye then walks into the house.
"Can you take me home?" I ask.
"Louis's having a party. Wanna join?" He asks. Although it sounds like a great idea, I'm exhausted.
"Sorry babe. Go have fun," I say. He frowns but doesn't say anything.
The rest of the ride is silent. When we pull into my driveway, I lean across the console and kiss Harry.
"Thanks for driving me home," I say before getting out. I walk inside and upstairs. Without even changing, I climb into bed and fall asleep.
"Maybe I should apologize to Sam," I say twirling my finger around on Harry's chest. He smiles and kisses me on the nose.
