Just can't let her go
Chapter 6
Haley's POV
"Whoa girl. What the hell happened to you?" Sam asks as I sit down beside her in math. Harry hasn't seen my new look yet and I'm kinda excited about his reaction.
"I needed a change." I respond.
She frowns. "Harry made you do this."
"No, he didn't. I wanted to." I snap a little too harshly.
She narrows her eyes. "Oh really? Have you two had sex yet?"
"Are you serious? You've know me since I was little and you think I would just jump in bed with him?!?" I ask.
"Sorry," She whispers, biting her bottom lip.
The teacher walks in and immediately starts the lesson. I lean back in my chair, not paying attention, and think about Harry. Maybe Sam's right. Just last week I was staying up late to study and now I'm getting in fights and getting tattoos. I look down at my clothes and all my guilt washes away. I changed because I wanted to. Not because of Harry or anyone else. I smile to myself and close my eyes.
"Ms. Mitchell?" My teacher says snapping me from my thoughts.
"What?" I snap.
He raises his eyebrows and crosses his arms. "What is the answer?"
"To what?" I ask again.
He pinches the bridge of his nose and sighs. "Can you solve this equation?"
I look past him and focus on the equation. I must take too long figuring the question out because the teacher clears his throat.
"Well it's obvious you don't know the answer." He says.
"Well it's obvious you don't know what time period we are in because you dress like you're still in the 70's." I say.
A chorus of Oh's erupt from the class.
"Don't say another word," He growls.
I plant a fat smirk on my face. "Word"
"Get out of my class!" He yells.
I grab my bag and sling it over my shoulder. "Whatever"
I walk out the class and into the courtyard. Asshole. I sit ontop of the picnic table and wait for the bell to ring.
After about 20 minutes, students start swarming the hallway. I jump off the table, grab my bag, and head for the lunchroom.
Sam sits at the table alone. I walk over and plop down besider her. She looks up and frowns.
"What are you doing here?" Sam snaps. She puts her head down and continues eating lunch.
"Eating lunch. What's with the attitude?" I ask.
She turns towards me. "Attitude? Are you serious? You're the one who snapped at the teacher. Just last week you wouldn't even dream of doing that."
She takes her tray and gets up. I watch her out of the corner of my eye sit down at another table.
Why the hell is she blaming me? I didn't ask for that dumbass teacher to snap at me. I can't believe she thinks I'm still a goody-goody.
"What's up?" Someone says. I turn around and see Dani, Eleanor, and Perrie sit down beside me. Behind them is the boys.
I sneak a glance at Sam then back to the girls. "Nothing much."
They nod and start eating. I stare out the window until the boys walk up.
"Hey Haley," Louis says. He walks over to Eleanor and sits beside her. Liam and Zayn do the same thing with Dani and Perrie. Niall sits infront of me and gives me a smile. Across the lunchroom, Sam turns around and shoots a smile at Niall before giving me a disgusted look. Niall looks at me and raises his eyebrows. I shake my head and he shrugs.
Harry slides down in the chair beside me and leans over.
"You look hot." He says. I smile before kissing him. He tries to deepen the kiss but I pull away. He frowns and begins eating.
"You look nice," Liam says while we're eating. Everyone agrees and then goes back to their individual conversations.
After lunch, Harry and I walk to class together.
"I heard you got kicked out of class." He says smirking.
"Damn teacher," I mumble. He chuckles and stops infront of his locker. After retrieving his books, he walks me to History.
"I'll drive you home," He says. I nod and stand on my tip toes to give him a kiss. As I walk away, he smacks my ass. I turn around and glare at him playfully as he smiles. I walk into class and sit down beside my other friend Jackson. Sam glares at me and I just smile.
"Everyone open your textbooks...." My teacher begins. I lean back in my chair and day dream about Harry.
