L(Emma's Pov)
Ahh at last mum's gone out and I can have some time to myself, she doesn't go out much this will be good for her. She hasn't been on a date since dad left ....
*knock knock*
Uhh what now! She better not be home yet ! *opens door* ' Hello, we are looking for a Emma Reed?' The police officer said. ' Erm, yes that's me officer how can I help ?' I asked quizzically, this was very strange.
The police man stepped forward, ' I am sorry to have to inform you that your mother has been involved in a car crash' He said something else but I didn't quite hear it because my ears were ringing.
'I... Is ... What... How did this happen, is she ok? The officer just looked at me. By this point I had already walked over to the sofa and sat down. My head felt fuzzy and heavy, my hands were shaking. Then everything went black.
