I waved to my mum as she drove off. I looked back at the big school. Kids were filing in the doors. I looked down at my shoes. I fixed my dress and started walking towards the doors. I walked in and saw all the kids huddled around a piece of paper. I walked over and waited. When i finally saw the paper, I realized it was your room number. I looked at mine it was room 345. I wasn't really sure where to go, so i started walking down the hall, and looked at the room numbers till i finally found room 345. The door was open so i walked in. Kids my age were running around, putting there stuff down, and talking with each other. I walked and put my stuff down in a random cubby. I walked over to the table farthest from everyone else and sat there. I pulled my note book from my backpack and started doodling. Soon enough a ringing sounded out. All of us look at each other. Then a very pretty lady walked in.

"Hello, boys and girls. I am Mrs. Taylor. I am your teacher. This will be the class room you come to most days to learn." She said giving us all a warm smile.

"I want you all to be able to make friends so, I have certain seats for you all." She went to her desk and pulled out a clipboard.

She pointed at each seat.

"Sierra" A little girl with blonde hair sat in the first seat.

"Micaela." A girl with bouncy brown curls sat next to her. She continued down the rows. About 4 minutes later at the table next to the one I was sitting next she called my name.

"Arabella." She pointed to the seat closest to the wall.

"Kyra." A girl with light short brown hair sat next to me.

"Harry." A little boy with brown hair sat down on the other side of me.

I looked down at my hands and tried to not look up. Kyra was the first to speak.

"Um... Hello. I'm Kyra. " I could tell she was smiling.

I finally looked up. "I'm Arabella." I said giving her a friendly smile.

"I'm.. Harry." The boy said looking down.

I sorta stared at him for a bit. I laughed at him.

"What?" He said looking up.

"You looked silly!" I said still giggling. Kyra started to giggle.

" I wasn't trying to be!" He said getting a little mad.

"Don't be angry! I'm sorry!" I said feeling a little bad.

He started laughing. " I can't believe you fell for that!" He gave me a cheeky smile.

"That's not very nice!" I said looking down.

"Now Arabella... I'm sorry... but you have to be a better liar than that to fool me!" He said lifting up my face. I started laughing.

"Um... so are you both excited about school?" Kyra asked.

"I am." I said smiling at her.

"I am now." Harry said giving another cheeky grin. We spent the rest of the day getting to know all of our class mates.
