he shoved me a note and walked away with his friends.
i just stood there, confused, very confused.
i looked down to my hand and looked at the piece of paper.
i opened it and read it out loud:

dear Melanie, i am very sorry what i did in the past,
i don't know what was into me,
for two years i have been bullying you,
only because of that once you blushed and stared at me,
it all started when i became friends with this dude,
he was in love with you,
and didn't want me to touch or speak to you,
it broke my heart to do something like that to you,
so i started hating you because of him,

i looked at it over and over again.
is this really happening?
"what does it say?" i heard from behind me.
i looked up at sarah and smiled, "he said he is sorry for hurting me"
"really?! thats great!!!!" she yelled.
i giggled at her reaction.
"well, lets go celebrate this!!!" she said, and pulled me over to the mall.
"why the mall?" i whined, i was sick of this mall, been there to many times.
"they have a new store!!!" she yelled.
"what kind?" i asked, curious.
"well, they have food and clothes." she answered.
i giggled and pulled her to the mall.
when i opened the door i bumped into someone.
"oh, sorry" i said, blushing, i looked up and saw the most handsome guy I've ever seen.
he smiled at me and walked past me to Sarah.
"sarah" he said in the most sweetest spanish accent ever, though i was jealous, i was happy for my friend.
"what" sarah said, obviously annoyed.
why was she like that?
"what are you doing here?" he asked her.
"just hanging out with my friend, why do you wanna know?" she asked.
"i am your cousin, i can know everything" he said, which shocked me, Sarah's cousin?!
he walked away and Sarah whispered: "jerk".
i giggled and we walked further in the mall.
"so, you didn't tell me your cousin was here, plus that your family is Italian" i said.
"yeah, i wanna to keep it a secret, but anyways, his name is Orlando." she answered.

when we reached the frozen yogurt place i found a table and we sat down.
"you guys are gonna get fat" we heard someone say.
i looked around me to look who it was and spotted Mark.
"look who says it" i said, giggling.
he groaned and sat next to me.
"dad tried to fix your phone, but it was completely broken"
i groaned.
"guess you and dad are gonna have to buy a new phone" he said.
"why does this have to happen to me?" i groaned again.
"well, you're supposed to be happy, that your getting a new phone, but it is the second new one this year, we're lucky we have so much money" Mark said.
it is true, i was one of the most rich kids in school.
"oh! get a blackberry or iphone" Sarah said, and i giggled.
Mark stood up and walked towards the door.
"tomorrow" he said, "you and dad are going to have a phone date"
i sighed, "ask him if Sarah can go with me!" i yelled.
Mark put up his thumb to sign that he would and walked out.

when we finished our froyo we walked out to look at the new store.
"yeah it cool" i said, turning around but sarah caught my arm and pulled me in.
"i don't wanna..." i whined but she just ignored me and walked to a rack of clothes leaving me standing there.
i walked to one rack of clothes which say: SALE and i picked out a shirt that i liked.
"you're so rich and you are looking at the sale?" sarah asked me, while walking towards me.
i giggled and nodded.
i walked to the fitting room and tried on the shirt.
"it fits" i told Sarah, she walked towards me and looked at the shirt.

"it is pretty, i just don't know if you will wear it so much" she said.
"i'm gonna buy it anyways" i said, laughing.
she looked at me with a suspicious look on her face and smiled.
"then i'm gonna buy this shirt" she said, and held a shirt in front of her:

"wow, thats very pretty." i told her, and she nodded.
"but hey, what are you going to o when you see Luca again?" Sarah asked me.
"i don't know" i aid, while we were walking to the cashier.
"that is 76$ for both of them" he said.
"okay, i'll pay" i said to Sarah, and gave him 100$ cash.
"no, i'll pay mine" Sarah said, and gave the guy 50$ but i pushed her away and payed for everything.

when we walked out of the store Sarah had a annoyed look on her face.
"so hows Sam doing?" i asked her, Sam is her boyfriend for the past 4 weeks.
she ignored me.
"hello?" i waved in front of her face.
"stop" she said annoyed, i shrugged and walked faster.
when i came to the middle of the mall i waited for her on a bench, thats when i felt looked at.
i turned around to look if i saw someone looking at me.
nobody.
i looked to the left.
nobody.
i looked to the right.
yes.
i looked in front of me.
no- wait what?
i looked to the right again and saw someone running away.
weird.
Sarah sat next to me with he arms crossed.
"whats up" i asked, and she looked at me.
"a friend" she answered, and looked away agian.
i shrugged and stood up.
"where are you going?" Sarah asked.
"home" i said, and walked towards the exit.
"wait!" she yelled, and came running after me.
i laughed and said "you can't live without your best friend can you?" i said to her and she hugged me.
"no" she mumbled.
i giggled and walked towards the exit.
