Car Crash

Every sense my human brain could develop over the years had been turned off. My sight, an infinate darkness. The entire world's sound had been muted. My body was completely numb. I was suspended in absolute nothingness for what seemed like hours, maybe even days. I could've been there forever for all I've known.
The darkness was unending. I've never seen anything like it. It was as if every light in the entire world as been replaced with black. Sound was nonexistent. There was nothing but a muted darkness; silent blackness. Every part of my body was numb. I couldn't feel any pain, pleasure, cold, or heat. I was nothing. I was floating in a world where nothing existed.
Could this have been death? Where was my light at the end of the long tunnel? Where were the heavenly angels? Wasn't there suppose to be a choir of angels to greet me into the gold gates? If not, where was the burning lakes of fire? The screams and cries of the damned? Where was the army of ruthless demons, greeting me with pitchforks, grotesque faces, and blood stained claws? Was I not suppose to feel unbearable, searing pain?

As my mind caressed the thought of life after death, that unbearable pain began to coarse through my body. It began as a sharp pulses, errupting through out my entire being. It felt like millions of needles through being shot into my skin, pushed further into my muscles, until they penitrated my bones. Over that pain, came a burning sensation. Those needles had injected fire deep into my bones, burning my body from the very core. I was burning alive from the inside. Suddenly, it stopped. I thought my torment was over for a few seconds. I savored those seconds, hoping they would last.
Suddenly, a drumming began to beat in my head. A quick, rhythmatic sound, over and over. It was constant and unending. The rhythem sounded familiar. It took me a few moments, though in this timeless place I didn't know how long that was, to realize the sound was my own heart beat. Had I forgotten the sound that kept me alive?
My body felt like one giant bruise, aching, and pulsing with a throbbing pain that through rushed to every corner of my body. I couldn't control it, I couldn't stop it, I couldn't even scream for help.
I wasn't sure if all of these floods of senses were signs that I was alive, or in a deep, black pit in Hell.
As the pain became more and more real, the world outside of the nothingness pulled me back.
I began hearing sounds, outside of my own heartbeat. I could hear sirens, ambulence sirens, people shouting, screaming, crying, and tiny wimpers that escaped my throat.
Warm, wet tears fell from my stingy eyes as I attempted to grasp onto the ground of this reality. I still felt paralyzed, but I was able to slightly move my fingers. I instantly regreted that decision. There was glass spread out all over the floor. I sliced my hand on a broken shard. Dust found it's way into my bleeding woud, causing it sting, and burn.
I let out what was meant to be a cry of pain. It came out as a tiny squeel, like you'd hear from an injured animal. There was rustling of boots, some yelling from husky sounding men, and the sound of clashing debris.

"Miss!" the men called. Who were they? Did I really care? "Can you speak?" they continued to call. But, I couldn't speak. My throat had tightened around a large, hard lump that had lodged itself in the middle of my neck. I could only squeel and whimper, but in those tiny spurts of what I could muster, I managed to draw their attention.
"We have two!" I heard a man say as he pulled off debris off of the two bodies, one being mine. There was another on top of me, adding to my pain. "Harry Styles. I'd know that face anywhere. My daughter loves him," a man said as he pulled the body off of me. I still couldn't see, so I couldn't see if he was alive.
"Is he okay?" another man asked. They took a pause, probably to check vital signs.
"He's breathing," someone said.
"What about her?" another questions. I tried to muster more squeaks and short cries.
"Yeah. She's pretty beaten though. Miss, can you hear me?" one asked. I was able to answer, but I could hear him. I wanted to nod my head, at least, but the agonizing pain that my body was engulfed it made it impossible to do anything.
All I could manaage was a small, quiet, "Eh,"
I felt someone wrap their arms around me and pull me up. The amount of pain that my body had gone through was too much for me to bare, then the world turned itself off again.
