Diana
Chapter 5
Diana's POV
I was sitting on Harry's bed, thinking about everything I'm going through. It's been almost three days and I'm already staying with the most well-known band in this planet, plus dating one of them, forcefully.
The though that Dad could probably find me and murder me haven't leaved my mind yesterday. Harry keeps telling me that 'he'll keep me safe.' He even said it yesterday before I went to bed.
I'm not saying that I'm unthankful to him, I'm just scared that's all. I mean, who wouldn't be scared of a crazy abusive father who drinks beer 24/7, I do.
Suddenly the door opened and there stood Lou. "Goodmorning," He greeted me, walking over and sitting on the bed, not too close. That's what I liked about Louis, he keeped his distance.
"Goodmorning," I whispered back.
"My girlfriend, Eleanor, will come, and you guys will do a last minute shopping before going to California, yeah? She's a model, if you're wondering what is she doing in America." He smiled at me. I never had a girl-friend before, the first 'friends' I've ever made were the boys, I don't even know if they are my friends, I don't even consider Harry as my…
My boyfriend. It sounded so right, yet, so wrong. I don't know…
"Diana!" Louis voice snapped me out of my thoughts as he waved his hand in front of my face. "So are you okay with it?" He asked.
"Yes," I replied. He shot me a warm smile, before standing up and leaving the room.
I threw on Harry's sister's oversized jumper, with also her leggings. Harry said that some of her clothes got in his bag when he was packing by accident. Well if he wasn't too silly, then I wouldn't be wearing anything but his shirts.
I stood in front of the mirror starting to braid messily my hair, once I was done, I looked at myself in the mirror. I couldn't say that I was ugly, mom told me that every girl is beautiful, and I totally believe her. I couldn't say that I'm beautiful either…
We could just say that I've got nice eyes, as my mother said when I was a child. And a little cute nose, with a 'baby-face' as Harry called it. I tried to play a smile on my lips, I haven't smiled in a while. But it came crooked, my left cheek dimple was showing. It was deep, but it wasn't very long, it was small and deep.
My crooked half smile, faded away as soon as I realized… Why am I smiling? I ran away from my abusive Dad, I'm dating someone forcefully, my mom died when I was only a toddler. My life is just so fucked up.
"There's no reason to smile," I whispered to myself, looking down. I glanced up to the mirror again, to find Harry's reflection. He was behind me.
"There's always a reason to smile, love." He said.
"I told you I'm not your love." I snapped. I bit my lip as soon as I realized what I said, I snapped at him, I just snapped at him, I squeezed my eyes shut, waiting for something, but nothing came.
"No, no! I'm never going to hit you, lo- I mean don't be scared, I'm sorry I forgot." He said, as he scratched the back of his neck. It was awkward, should we hug? Should we… Kiss? What should we do? We're suppose to be a couple right?
Or was it just in public?
"Um, uh… Louis' girlfriend, Eleanor is coming to pick me up…" I said, trying desperately to make the awkwardness go. "A-and, I need to go…"
He smirked when he saw that I was nervous. "Ok, take care babe," He said as he leaved a long kiss to my cheek, smirking again before going out the room.
"Cheeky," I blurted out to no one, that was the first word that crossed my mind and I said it.
"Yes, I'm." He came back in, laughing before heading out.
Yes totally cheeky.
