Chapter 2- The ER
Brittany's POV
I bust the door down and see her bleeding. I call the ER and cry. I grab towels to prevent too much blood loss.
ER: Hello. What is your emergency?
Me: My step sister just stabbed herself...PLEASE HELP(I practically yell)
ER: Where is your location?
Me: 3674 Wadet Road Lexington, KY 40511
ER: Okay miss. Help is on the way. Stay on the phone with me no matter what.
Me: Okay
~10 minutes later~
She's lying in the hospital bed still unconscious. "We have the results. She will live but we found other problems." The doctor said. "Pr-pr-problems? Like what?" I stutter. "She is anorexic, has many bruises-" "She plays soccer." I lie and cut them off. Just then she flutters her eyes open and looks at her wrists groggily. "What? What happened?" "I'll explain when we get home."
Bella's POV
When we get home both Jake and Haley are there. Haley pulls me into a death hug. "Ohmygod! You had me so damn worried! Don't you ever scare me like that ever again!" "Oka-" I was interrupted by my sister's bedroom door shutting and faint moaning. Oh god why? Oh well she's back to her old self. I roll my eyes. "Let's go to my house." Haley suggested. We both climbed into her car and arrive at her house. There's a cute blonde boy sitting on the couch. "Haley...who's this?" "My um boyfriend..." I slap her in the arm playfully. "How come you never told me?" "Ok fine! Niall this is Bella. Bella this is Niall." She says quickly obviously annoyed. Damn he's cute but Haley has him. "Bella?!" I hear him say. "What? Huh?" I say in confusion. "Were you listening?" Haley says. "No sorry..." I feel guilt wash over me. "I'm going to the grocery store. Niall will stay here so you don't try anything!" She says as she closes the door. Haley. Has. Abandoned. Me. With. A. Hot. Guy. Well I'm screwed.
