Poison

I climb out of the car the next morning and begin the horrible trek that I have to endure every morning while people stare at me. I adjust my skirt and button up my coat as I walk.
"Hey GiGi wait up!" I familiar voice shouts.
I turn curiously to see Liam jogging towards me with a grin on his face.
"Hi Liam," I say as he approaches.
"How are you?" He asks and we walk up to school together, people staring as we walk. We must look like an odd pair, his large stature and leather jacket vastly different from my tiny height and blonde curls.
"Im okay," I admit. Things at this school have gotten a bit better since I have Louis and his friends, it's still tough though when Harry is constantly harassing me.
"Well I'm glad to hear that," he says with a genuine smile.
"Thanks for offering to come save me last night," I smile and nudge in to him lightly.
"Anytime love," he says sweetly and opens the door for me to go inside.
"I'll see you later?" I ask as I spot Louis across the hall. Liam nods and smiles and I take that as my cue to rush away.
Louis turns and grins as I approach and I can't help the smile that appears on my face either.
"You look pretty today," he says sweetly and kisses my cheek.
"Why thank you," I reply and he wraps his arm around me as we walk to my locker. "Lou can I ask you about something?" I ask tentatively, nervous to cause a fight.
"Of course," Louis says and his blue eyes meet mine warmly.
"Last night you seemed way more into talking to your dad than talking to me..." I mumble, still a tad bitter about the whole situation.
When Louis doesn't say anything I glance up to see that his face had paled.
"I didn't even realize I was doing that.." Louis says and presses me closer to his side. "I'm sorry love, my dad and I are really close and sometimes I can get distracted," he apologizes and leans against the locker next to mine as I put my stuff away.
"It's alright Louis," I say and smile. "I just felt a bit..under appreciated."
"Well I appreciate you plenty," Louis says with a smirk that makes me blush. "It won't happen again."
"Thank you," I coo and kiss his lips lightly before we head to class. I internally groan when I see Harry already in his seat, looking at me like a predator. His vicious gaze is beginning to make me uncomfortable. I shift my focus to his lab partner, Niall and smile. He looks up at me and grins, throwing a wink in as Louis pulls out my chair for me. I watch Harry glare at him and suppress the giggle that threatens to burst from my lips.
The bell rings and the conversations fade out as Mr. Colin starts the class. I feel a note hit my back and roll my eyes at Harry's relentless note passing during this class. I turn to pick it up and hesitate before opening it. He wants me to open it, expects me to actually. Instead, I toss the note back over my shoulder without even glancing at it.
"What was that?" Louis leans over and whispers.
"Nothing," I reply softly and place my hand on top of his, squeezing gently to reassure him.
Moments later I feel another note hit my back and this time I completely ignore it, not even bending down to pick it up.

Nialls POV
I watch as Harry throws another note at Genny, growing frustrated when she doesn't even bother to pick it up. I suppress a chuckle and Harry glares at me, Gennys got some sass.
I roll my eyes as Haz throws yet another note at Genny. This time she leans over to Louis and whispers something that makes him chuckle. Ah fuck they're holding hands. I lean back in my seat and spend the rest of the class watching as Genny and Louis get closer and Harry continues to throw notes at Gennys golden hair.
"Just give it a rest mate," I mutter as my eyes scan the note laden ground. Harry sighs and leans back in his seat. Muttering curse words to himself. He clenches his fist and for the first time I notice three scratch marks on the back of his hand. How the hell did he get those? When he opens his eyes I point at them quizzically and he smirks.
"Barbie," he mutters as an explanation. Normally this would be a sign that Harry was winning the bet, but I get the impression that Genny doesn't exactly like it rough, she was probably trying to fend Harry off, not turn him on.
The bell rings and I follow Louis and Genny out the door where they turn separate ways.
"Hey Genny!" I call after her and jog to catch up. Harry glares at me but doesn't say anything as he stalks off in a different direction.

Gennys POV
I turn when I see Niall jogging to catch up to me.
"Hi Niall," I say and give him a small smile.
"I would like to give you props for completely ignoring Harry," he says with a grin. "It was extremely entertaining."
I laugh lightly at the mention of the countless notes and Niall and I walk down the hall together.
"Well I'm glad you enjoyed, do you think maybe he'll leave me alone now?" I ask hopefully but disappointment courses through me when Niall looks at me with a sad smile.
"Unfortunately not," he says and shakes his head.
"Damn," I mutter. "Well maybe he will stop throwing notes at me then, something good has to come out of this," I reason.
"Maybe," Niall says and I smile.
"Well thanks for the talk Niall but I should probably get going," I say once we reach my locker.
"Wait Genny," Niall says and grabs my arm. I turn around because of the urgency in his voice. He glances around nervously before leaning close to whisper in my ear. "There's a lot of guys here who only want you for one thing, be careful who you give it to," the message in his voice is clear and I back away.
"Thanks Niall but no worries, I can take care of myself," I say proudly.
He nods slowly as I turn around and lose myself in the crowded hallway.
