Safe And Sound
"BEEP. BEEP. BEEP." My alarm was probably my worst enemy. I threw my hand over and slide my finger across the screen to turn off my alarm. Usually since it's summer I didn't have an alarm, but since I was going to breakfast with Harry, I set my alarm for 8:30. After about 10 minutes of looking at my twitter and instagram, I rolled out of bed and hit the shower.
The hot water felt so good, I actually started to drift off to sleep again. So I turned the water really cold to wake myself up again. I stayed in there for about 15 minutes, and when I finally got out, I kind of just sat on my bed in a towel.
I heard my phone going off and I look to see I had a text from a number I didn't know.
Unknown number:
"Hey it's Harry! I'll pick you up around 10 and we'll go! I know a great little cafe we can go to. See ya soon love :) xx"
I was a little confused on how he got my number, but I didn't really care. I was just really excited! I texted him back and got dressed.
I put on a blue ombre tank top that went from light blue to dark blue going down. I threw on my dark Miss Me skinny jeans and topped it off with my sequinced black convse. Of course I put on my diamond cross necklace my best friend got me.
I looked at the time and it was 9:25. I still had to do my hair and makeup! I hurridly blow dried my hair and straightened it. When my hair was straight, it was down to my butt. I then put on eyeliner on the top and bottom, and a little mascara. I liked the way I looked without makeup, but, I just felt like others didn't.
I was on my way down the steps when I heard a knock at my door. I opened and was greated with a hug from Harry. I was caught off gaurd, but then returned the hug. He then walked me to his car and opened the door like a gentleman, I felt my cheeks heat up a little bit.
The cafe wasn't far, only about a 10 minute drive, and we just listened to the radio then entire time.
When we got there, the hostess took us to a little spot in the corner and took our drink order. I had a water while he had tea.
"So, Miss Lauren, what do you think of London so far?" He asked me with a cheeky smile.
"I haven't seem really a lot yet, but from what I have seen, it's absolutely beautiful!" I said with a weird grin on my face.
"Well, how about I spend the day taking you around and showing you around, there's A LOT to see and I would be honored to show you it all." I just couldn't take it all in that I'm actually getting to know this extremely handsome guy. It's too much to take in.
"I would love to. But, I don't know anything about you. What if you like kidnap me or something?" We both chuckled a little until he finally spoke.
"Well, what would you like to know?"
"Everything!" I nearly shouted.
*Harry's P.O.V*
She told me about a game she plays with all new people she meets. You get a minute to tell as much about you as possible, so I went first.
"Ready? Go!" She said, so I started.
"Well, I'm 18 years old. I'm single. I live with my best mate, Louis. I love cats. My full name is Harold Edward Styles. I have a little sister and a mom. I love to sing with my band mates. I was born on February 1st. I love to spoil a girl. And.."
"Nope, times up." She said with a smile as the timer went off.
"Alright then, now it's your turn." I told her as I pressed the button to start the timer.
"Okay, I'm 17, I'll be 18 on June 13th. I have one cat, Simba. I live in Cleveland, Ohio. I love volleyball more than anything. Whenever I'm stressed I just go to the court and relieve my stress. I love to sing. I have two older brothers and I live with my mom. My full name is Lauren Elizabeth Miller. I've only had one boyfriend and that didn't end well. Also, my neighbor is very..." She didn't get to finish since the timer went off.
"Wait, your neighbor is very what?" I asked with a confused look.
"Too late, the timer went off, can't say." She said with a cute smirk. When she did that, I saw she had beautiful dimples.
"Oh c'mon! Pleeaaaase?"
"Ehh, maybe one day I'll tell you."
After that, we finished up eating and we headed out.
