I'm His Sister?!?!?

“Are you ready Lia?” Anna yelled from her room to mine as I was finishing my hair for tonight. The boys will be here soon to pick us up for the VMAs. Once I finished my hair I walked down the stairs and found Liam standing at the bottom of the stairs.

“Wow. You look amazing sis!” Liam said as walked down to him.

“Thanks Li.” I said as he took hold of my hand and spun me around. Once he was done he pulled me into a hug.

“Awww look at the siblings.” Louis said walking through our front door without knocking which means Anna has once again forgotten to close lock the door.

“Awww look at the Tommo.” I replied walking over to give him a hug.

“He’ll love you babe.” Louis whispered in my ear before letting me go. As we were waiting for the other boys and Anna to get ready, the three of us went and sat down on the couch. I turned on the TV and the there was talk show and a picture of Liam and I poped up on the screen just as I was about to turn.

“Leave it little Payne!” Louis shouted even though he was right next to me. I dropped the remote and he picked it up to turn on the volume.

“Have you guys heard about Liam Payne’s secret sister?” one of the host asked the others.

“Yeah. Apperantly she was switched at birth, but I don’t belive it. I smell a publicity stunt.” one of the other hosts says.

“Why would someone lie about this though. I mean family is a pretty serious thing.” the first host said.

“Why not? I mean if it catched the publics eye then why not. I mean I’ll find a sister who was “switched” at birth if it would give me more fans.” one of the other host said. I felt tears running my face and a large lump in my throat. Liam must have noticed because he reached over and turned off the TV.

“Are you okay?” Louis asked me as Liam pulled me into a side hug.

“I think it’s best if I don’t go tonight.” I said just as the other three boys came in through the front door and Anna came down the stairs.

“What is this madness that you are speaking woman?” Harry asked me in a voice that was trying to get me to laugh. When I didn’t he looked between Louis, Liam, and I with a confused look.

“It’s nothing. I just don’t think I should go. Thanks for inviting me Harry, but I can’t tonight.” I said getting up off the couch then giving Harry a quick hug then going upstairs into my room to change.

Harry’s P.O.V
Lia gave me a hug then ran up went up stairs. I’m so confused as to why she is crying. I turned to look at Liam and Louis for an explinantion.

“This is my fault.” Louis said beginning to walk up the stairs. I turned to look at Liam.

“What’s going on?!” I asked him.

“Well Louis thought it was a good idea to watch a talk show. The topic at the moment was about my “secret” sister that I have for a publicity stunt. So Lia decided that she wasn’t coming tonight.” Liam said as he was looking up the stairs where we heard a door shut.

“Well since she was supposed to be my date, you guys go and I’ll stay here with her.” I said looking between the three.

“No you go. I’m her brother. Harry you take Anna and I’ll have a night in with my sister.” Liam said and I nodded my head as he walked up the stairs.

Lia’s P.O.V
Just as I was about to change there was a knock on my door. I shouted for the person to come in as I took the bow out of my hair. As I was putting my hair into a ponytail Louis walked in, closed the door, and then sat down next to me on my bed.

“Hey baby Payne. How are you doing?” He asked me. I turned and sort of glared at him and he nodded his head.

“I guess I deserve that.” Louis said looking down at his hands and I instantly regretted it.

“I’m sorry Lou. It’s just I hate that I am seen that way. I don’t want this to effect my relationship with any of you guys espeically Liam.” I said looking him in the eyes.

“What those gossip queens said about you on TV isn’t going to change the fact that you’re an amazing girl to be around. Why do you think it’s going to change your relationship with Liam?” he asked me.

“He may want to distant himself from me to stop the rumors.” I said and just then my door opened.

“Talk to your brother baby Payne and I’ll see you later.” Louis said kissing the top of my head. Once he left and closed the door Liam sat down next to me.

“I’m not going to distance myself from you. I just met you! You’re a Payne no matter what! Screw what everyone else thinks, the people that matter most know what is true and what isn’t. You’re my little sister even if there is a few minutes between the two of us. My being your big brother, it is my job to protect you from the hurt of the world.” Liam said looking down at me.

“I hate to break it to you, but you can’t protect me from everything. Words hurt Liam! They think you’re using me for a freabking publicity stunt! I just am a teenage girl who wants to get to know her family and spend time with her brother without people questioning the reality of the situation! Is that too much to ask for?” I asked him as more tears streamed down my face. He scooted closer and moved me onto his lap while he rubbed my back.

“I know words hurt, but I will protect you from them. With my job people question the reality of anything. I survive by remembering that my friends and my family know the truth and they have the opinions that matter. I’m a teenage boy who wants to get to know and spend time with his sister. I’m not going to let anything ruin that.” He said as I was crying into his chest. When he finished I looked up at him and he kissed my cheek.

“Look at your shirt. You can’t go the VMAs with my makeup smeared on your shirt.” I said frantically trying to think of another option for a shirt.

“Don’t worry. I’m not going; I’m staying here with you.”

“But don’t you have go?”

“Nope. The band has four other boys. I think they’ll do fine. Now do you want to say goodbye to them before they go?” Liam asked me and I nodded my head before standing up. I still had my dress on so I kind of stumbled while standing up, but then I regained my balance. When we got down stairs everyone was sitting on the couches.

“Well guys good luck tonight.” I said startleing them all.

“Thanks Alia.” Niall said coming to give me a hug. Niall is the only one that I know who calls me by my full name; not really sure why though.

“Thank you Payno 2.” Zayn said as he came to give me a hug.

“Sorry again baby Payne.” Louis said as he hugged me. Our hug lasted longer then the two previous. Next Anna gave me a hug and a kiss on my cheek.

“Can I talk to you out back really quick?” Harry asked me and I nodded my head. I walked ahead of him onto my back patio. Once he was on the patoi with me he slid the sliding glass doors closed.

“Here wipe off your makeup.” Harry said handing me a wet washcloth. I took it and did just that.

“Okay?” I asked looking up at him in confusion. He smiled then took out his phone and pulled me into his side. I knew what he was doing and I also knew it was futial to argue with him so I just smiled.

“Perfect. Now, tomorrow I am taking you out to lunch.” Harry said looking down at me with a hopeful smile.

“I have school tomorrow Styles.” I replied as I was looking up at him.

“Okay well then I’ll pick you up after school from school.” He said and I nodded my head. He leaned down slowly as he cressed my cheeck and I instantly felt butterflies in my stomach. Just as he was about to lean down and kiss me the door opened.

“We really need to go.” Zayn said and Harry nodded his head.

“I’ll text you during the show tonight so it’ll be like you’re still there with me as my date.” Harry said and I nodded my head before turning to walk inside. Once inside Liam and I said goodbye to the others then turned to look at each other.

“Quick pic?” Liam asked me.

“Sure why not?” I replied smiling at him. We took a selfie and then he posted it to twitter. He showed me the tweet before he sent it to get my approval.

Once the tweet was sent Liam turned off his phone and looked at him.

“So I think we both need to change. Rob lef some of his clothes here, so I’m not sure if you’ll be able to fit them, but we can try right?” I asked and he nodded his head. I went to Rob’s and Hil’s old room and grabbed a pair of sweats and a black t-shirt. I literally tossed them down the stairs to Liam and he didn’t catch them. I then went into my room and changed into yoga pants with my white crop top that says “LOL Ur Not Harry Styles”. I used a makeup wipe to make sure I got all of my makeup off before heading downstairs to where I found Liam with a pizza.

“Where did this come from?” I asked him.

“Where do you think?” Liam asked me as I sat down. I pushed him and he didn’t budge, but when he pushed me I did budge.
