Alia’s P.O.V
It’s been three days since Harry asked me to be his date for the AMA’s and we have been texting non-stop since. Today is the day that Leanna and I have auditions for our band.
“Ready to go girly?” I asked as I put my sunglasses on and started my car.
“Yup lets go.” Anna said putting her sunglasses on. I backed out of the driveway and drove to the rec center where we rented a room out. When we arrived we saw a long line of people. We looked at each other and squealed then grabbed our bags and walked inside. We set up our pen and papers then called in the first person.
~twenty auditions later~
“This is hopeless. Lets just stop” I said laying my head down on the table.
“Come on a couple more people then we can go dress shopping.” Anna said. I nodded my head and sighed before she called in the next person. Instead of one person walking in two did.
“Hi I’m Callie and this is my twin Andrew. I play keyboard and he plays bass.” Kalie said. We nodded our heads telling them to begin. When they were finished Anna and I looked at each other with smiles on our faces.
“That was fantastic guys! We would love to us both of you.” I said standing up and walking towards them.
“OMG Thank you! Does this mean we are in?” Andrew asked.
“I say yes what about you?” I asked turning and looking at Anna. She agreed with me.
“Great! So we are planning on playing at our prom and then also whatever other gigs we can get.” I said writing down both mine and Anna’s numbers. Once we got their numbers I told them I would text them the details later and they left. We stayed a little longer until we found the perfect drummer. His name is Brandon and he is the same age a Leanna and I could tell she was totally swooning over him. We did the same process we did with Callie and Andrew before we left. As Leanna and I got in my car I got a call from Harry.
“Hello?” I asked while rolling down all my windows and the top to my convertible. I started to drive while Leanna turned the radio up a little bit.
“Hey. Wait are you driving and talking to me?” Harry asked me.
“Yes. Why?” I asked confused.
“I’ll talk to you later then. I don’t want to be the cause of your death because Liam would kill me.” Harry said with a chuckle.
“Hold on.” I replied laughing. I asked Leanna to connect my phone to the car so I could talk to him that way. Once it was connected she nodded her head at me.
“Ok we are fine to talk. No phone in hand you are now going through my car speakers.” I said as we pulled up to a stop sign. I turned down the volume a little bit so it wasn’t like he was shouting.
“That’s better. Have you got your dressed yet?” he asked as I began to drive again.
“Nope going to get it with Anna now. I’ll send you a pic of the dress later I promise.” I said with a smile.
“Ok babe. So how did your auditions go today?” Harry asked me. When he called me babe I got the very cliché butterflies in my stomach unlike the other times a guys has called me babe.
“They went great! We have twins in our band.” Anna said speaking up.
“Identical?” Harry asked her.
“Nope boy and girl so fraternal. Callie plays keyboard and Andrew play Bass. Oh and Brandon plays the drums, I play guitar and Alia sings. We are all set.” Anna said smiling at me.
“Well be sure to tell me when your first performance is and I will be sure to come.” Harry said.
“Well I actually may have signed us up for the next season of America’s Got Talent.” Anna said causing me to quickly turn my head towards her before looking back at the road.
“You what? We don’t even know if we work together.” I said still in shock.
“I bet you will all do fine. Don’t worry. When is your audition?” Harry asked.
“May 13th.” She replied as I pulled into the parking lot of the dress shop we love.
“See you have time to practice. You guys will do great.” Harry said as I disconnected the phone from the car and put it up to my ear.
“I guess. So what’s going on with you?” I asked getting out and locking my car door.
“Making dinner for myself and talking to someone really pretty.” He said and I could tell he was smirking through the phone.
“Oh really? Who would the pretty girl be?” I asked as Leanna held up a black dress to me. I made a face and she knew I didn’t like it.
“She happens to be my best mate’s twin sister and my date for the AMA’s” Harry replied. I laughed and rolled my eyes at the cheesiness.
“Well your date has to find her dress now. Talk to you later?” I asked him.
“Of course. Have fun and tell Anna I said goodbye.” He replied.
“Well do Styles.” I said before hanging up and putting my phone on my pocket.
