we aren't much different though!

Emily's POV-

I get off the plane and look around.
This is it...a new start.
I go towards my mom and she hands me my carry on. I look around and see a moving truck with our boxes and a man taking bags from my mother and putting them in the back.
I walk towards the door into the building and go into the bathroom.
I look in front of the mirror and splash some cold water in my face.
I take a deep breath. I don't understand why i'm so nervous.
It is just a new house, new school, and...at the moment...no friends.
I'm not pretty enough to make new friends...the only reason i had friends at home is because i met them when i was small and cute.
I need to stop being so insecure...
I walk out of the bathroom and to my mom.
"There you are honey! Are you alright you look kind of pale" My mom says looking at me with concern.
"yeah I'm fine just tired from the plane ride." i say reassuringly
She nods and we go towards the door to leave.
I get into the car and wait for my mom.
She gets in the driver's side and we head towards the hotel.

I show my mom and she says we will look later.
I just nod my head and shut my laptop.
I put in my headphones and listen to music until i slowly fall asleep.
