How It All Started
It blew up in my face
“Wow.” I gasped. This was so beautiful, I’ve never seen fireworks like these.
“Look at that one!” Harry pointed out.
Neither of us said a word after that, just stared at the beautiful sky being lit by these amazing fireworks. The last set of fireworks went off, and Harry got up, holding his hand out for me to take. I blushed but took his hand and got on my feet.
“Our hotel is right there, do you want to walk or should I call Blake?”
“Walking is fine.” I smiled, and he nodded in response.
BACK AT THE HOTEL…
“Oh They’re back!” Eleanor called out as soon as we walked through the door.
“Oh great.” I murmured.
“Hey mate, how were the fireworks?” Louis winked.
“Fuck off Lou,” Harry tried to hold back his smile.
“Come on, lets have some drinks.” Angel sat down on the ground with drinks in her hand.
“Okay.” Perrie and I said at the same time, taking a seat next to each other. Everyone grabbed a drink, and soon we were all getting tipsy. I was currently on my fifth bottle of Heineken. Liam and Blake seemed to be the only ones that stopped after two drinks.
“OOOHHH let’s play a game!” Eleanor exclaimed.
“truth or dare?” Perrie suggested
“I’ll go first!” Louis clapped his hands together like a 5 year old boy. He spinned the bottle and it landed on EJ
“Dare.” Ej grinned satisfied with his choice.
“Hmm.” Louis stroked his chin, thinking of a good dare.
“I dare you to jump in the pool.” He gave him a wicked smile.
“But it’s so cold!” I spoke up, surprised.
“Kylie it won’t be that bad.” Ej said, getting up while taking his shirt off. Without another word said he jumped into the freezing pool in nothing but his boxers. Angel and Rylee were laughing their asses off. Ej quickly got out of the water and started laughing with the rest.
We had played played a few rounds of truth or dare but fortunately the bottle hadn’t landed on me yet. After two more rounds the bottle finally landed on me. I suddenly felt nervous, not knowing what to pick.
“Kylie, truth or dare?” Harry turned to ask me.
“Umm truth.”I said with hesitation. After seeing the dares that the others were given, I didn’t want to do a dare.
“Are you a virgin?” He asked, giving me an innocent smile.
“Uhh that’s a bit too personal.”I shifted uncomfortably. Stay strong Kylie. Stay strong. I kept repeating in my head. Memories of him came Into my mind. I was trying hard to fight back the tears that were threating to fall.
“Why? Are you too scared to admit that you’ve never had sex? Or that You’re not a virgin at all?” With every word he said it felt as if I was being punched in the gut. Why did I think sweet Harry would last long? I’m so stupid.
“Harry don’t push it.” Blake warned
“Come on, we’re just playing truth or dare.” I finally found my voice.
“That’s none of your god damned business.” I hissed.
“Did he leave you?” I was speechless, looking at him with a stunned expression.
“Where you not good enough for him?” He smirked, knowing its working.
“Harry, stop!” Liam growled.
“No!”
“Did he just use you?” He wouldn’t stop. I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out.
“Wait have you ever even had a boyfriend? I wouldn’t be surprised if not.” Everyone was just as shocked as I was. Suddenly I felt tears streaming down my face. I shook my head in disbelief, and disgust. Zayn came over and grabbed Harry’s shoulders.
“ENOUGH HARRY!” he screamed in his face.Louis was giving him a death glare while Justin and Ej had their fists balled up by their sides. Blake immediately rushed by my side and hugged me. I buried my head in his chest, now full on sobbing.
“Shh. Its ok.” Blake reassured me while playing with my hair. Niall all of a sudden came and picked me up off the ground and carried me to his room, locking the door behind him.
“You okay?” I shook my head, not trusting my voice and cried harder, Getting reminded of him.
“Kylie what happened? Talk to me.” Niall pleaded.
‘I cant Niall. I’ve never told anyone. I’m not ready.” I desperately tried to contain my sobs. He didn’t say anything else just held me in his arms and tried to calm me down for what felt like hours. Someone knocked on the door.
“Can I come in? It’s just us girls.” I heard Perrie’s voice. I nodded at Niall to open the door for them to come in.
“Hey babe.” Perrie smiled at me, sitting on the bed followed by Angel, Rylee, and Eleanor. Niall didn’t let go of me until I detached myself from him.
“Thank you Ni.” I chocked out, my voice hoarse. I pecked his cheek and gave him a thank-you-for-being-there-for-me smile.
“Good night Kylie.” He kissed the top of my head and left the room.
“Kylie He was drunk, and didn’t know what he was saying. Please don’t be upset.” Eleanor was the first person to speak up.
“El, when someone says something while they’re drunk, they meanit!” I snapped
“Sorry, I’m just really upset right now.” I added quickly feeling bad for snapping at her.
“I understand. Do you want to talk about it though?”
“No.”
“Okay. How about a movie?”
“Yes please.” I smiled.
“I’ll get the popcorn!” Rylee yelled as she walked out of the room.
We spent the rest of the night watching movies and laughing. But deep down, the pain had refreshed.
Once again reminding me of him.
