Rachel's P.O.V.

Louis, Harry & Zayn went in Harrys car while me Niall & Liam went in Liams car.

Niall sat in the back with me. We spent most of the drive to the rink singing along with the radio. Liam rolled his eyes but chuckled as we belted out Roar.

The boys were wearing beanies and sunglasses, hoping not to be noticed.

When we got to the ice skating rink, I was the first one on the ice. "C'mon guys!" I yelled at them as I made my way to the middle. I looked back to see that Louis and Zayn had made it onto the ice, Harry and Liam were not far behind them and Niall was clinging to the edges.

I chuckled slightly as I glided to where Niall was standing. "Afraid of the ice?" I teased. He shook his head. "Afraid of falling" he corrected. I grinned and offered my hand. "C'mon Ni, I'll teach you" I told him, smirking.

And so, we (slowly) managed to get to the middle of the rink.

"See you can do it" I told him grinning as we picked up speed slightly.

"Only 'cause your helping me" he replied, shrugging.

We continued skating around for ages, chatting about the randomest things. Niall was slowly getting better. Or so I thought.

He tripped on his own foot and fell straight onto the ice, pulling me with him.

He fell on his back, and I ended up laying on top of him. There were mere centimetres between our faces. I suddenly wondered what would happen if I were to close the distance between us, and let my lips meet his.

I saw Niall gulp. Our noses were practically touching.

Wait, what was I thinking? Niall was my best friend. Friend. And besides, I had a boyfriend.

I got up from Niall as quickly as I could, finding it difficult considering I had ice skates on. I held out a hand quickly for Niall.

"I'm so sorry Rach, I really suck at this... There goes my dreams of becoming a professional ice dancer" he joked, as I helped him to his feet. I couldnt help but grin.

"What a shame" I replied sarcastically.

"You know, Im gonna get myself a drink, do you want anything?" He asked me. I shook my head. "Nah, I'm good..." I told him. He nodded in response and then began very slowly making his way to the edge of the rink, where he could get out.

I watched him go, sighing. What had just happened? Now that Niall wasn't around me I realised how crazy I was being. Kissing Niall would be a bad idea.

I mean me and Niall were just friends. Best friends. Thats always the way it was. I had probably just got a bit caught up in the moment.

"Boo!"

I jumped slightly and turned to see Zayn grinning.

"Well hello to you too" I muttered.

"I saw what happened" he told me, still grinning.

"What are you talking about?" I asked confused.

"You.. on top of Niall.... It was pretty entertaining" he explained with a smirk.

I rolled my eyes but felt my cheeks heat up a little.

"We fell, no biggie" I shrugged casually.

"You just lay there staring at each other for like 3 minutes" Zayn answered.

What? I couldn't tell if Zayn was over exaggerating or not so I just shrugged and muttered "Whatever."

"Oh c'mon Rachel. There's obviously something between you and Niall! Will you just please admit that and do something about it!" Zayn sounded amused and exasperated at the same time.

"Look Zayn, in case you've forgotten I've a boyfriend" I snapped.

Zayns smile instantly subsided.

I suddenly felt bad for snapping.

"Sorry.. Its just, I'm with Brad" I apologised quickly, just hoping he would drop it.

I couldnt talk about this right now..

Even if there was something between me and Niall (which there wasn't), nothing could be done about it.

I had Brad.

I've been so busy..
I know this chapter isn't very good..
Towards the end the sentences get shorter and shorter... :p
