Midnight Memories

Ella's pov

We are rushed into the radio station.
I sit outside the booth, listening to their interview.

"...We really love how excited and happy the fans get when we give them a new song. It's amazing how supportive they are." Louis says.
"And what about relationships? That's always a hot topic with the fans." the interview lady says, lacing her fingers together and resting her chin on them.
"Well, there's nothing to tell, really. Louis and Zayn are in relationships, I just broke up with Dani and Sophi, Niall and Harry are still single." Liam says.
"Of coarse, but are you three looking for someone?" she asks.
"Well, actually, Liam is going out with Harry's sister soon." Niall says, chuckling a bit.
Harry rolls his eyes.
"That's sweet. What about you Niall? Harry?" she pushes.
"Oh well, I think I am still waiting for someone." Niall answers, leaving Harry to choose a different answer.
I look at my phone, Gemma said she is listening to the interview in her car, driving back to the boys house.

I look back up to see Harry glancing at me through the window.
"Harry, are you seeing anyone?"
"Yeah. I am." he smiles and waves me in.
Why am I going in there?

I walk in and Harry pulls out a chair beside him.
"I am going out with this lovely lady, Ella, tonight." he puts an arm around my shoulder.
"What?"
"Yeah, tonight." he says, as if he is reminding me.
"I-"
Harry kisses my cheek, cutting me off.
"Alright, looks like we are out of time. Join us next week to hear about how their dates went." She takes of her head phones and says bye to us.

We walk out to the car and I hit Harry's chest.
"What the hell was that?" i yell, before the other boys walk out and hear us.
He backs me against the car, resting one arm on the car, above my head.
"You asked me first. I just made the plans." he whispers in my ear.
I get chills.
His eyes look deep into mine.
I want to lean in and get lost in a kiss, but I remember it's Harry.
The same Harry as when we were kids.
The one who fooled with tons of girls, a few were my friends.
He was breaking hearts before he was internationally known.

I back away and walk to my car door on the other side as the other boys catch up and we start to drive.

Harry's pov

She was right there.
Inches from my face.
I wanted to kiss her.
Just her scent of vanilla was driving me insane.
Ella has never really liked me that much. Even when we were kids, she'd spend the night with Gemma and if Gemma left the room, I'd try to talk to her. She was always awkward and tried to ignore me.
I thought I was such a player back then.
But then it became night and I now have memories of cutting myself for being bullied.

She was right about me. I was a jerk, no wonder I was so into her though, she challenged me. Everyone else fell in line for me. She made me work, and is still making me work for her.

And I love a challenge.

Ella's pov

I sat in my room when we got back home, looking at Gemma.
She was trying to find her best outfit for her date with Liam.

"You know what happened today?" i ask her, kicking my feet in the air as I lay on my stomach.
"No. What?"
"Your evil brother conned me into a date."
I try not to smile, but for some reason I can't help it.

She turns to me with a smile.
"That's why he was so happy! God I was worried he was going insane..." she laughs.
"Haha! Shut up!" i throw a pillow at her and stand up to go change.

"So, where's he taking you?" she asks.
Harry had told me it was a walk in the park.
"The park."
"Oh."
"Oh what?" i ask, peeking my head from the clothes i was sorting through.
"It's just, Harry usually makes big moves in private." she says, "So I wonder if this is a date..or you two hanging out."
"Good question.."
"It wasn't a question. It was a statement." she points out.
I roll my eyes, "Shut up, smart ass."

*3 hours later*
I get changed quickly, my hair is still a bit wet, so I throw it up in a messy bun. and change; http://www.polyvore.com/this/set?id=110978528

"Ready?" I am asked by Harry as I walk down the stairs.
"Yeah." I say, we walk to the door.
Gemma and Liam already left.

We walk to the park, it's only about a ten minute walk.
The park is empty, so I get on the swings and go as high as I can.

Harry steps in front of my, holding the chains, the swings moves forward slightly and I am completely stopped, right in front of Harry.

He puts one hand on my cheek and strokes it with his thumb, "I should have done this when we were kids." he lifts up his jaw slightly, and his lips touch mine, making me feel like a wave of heaven flowed through me.
I push him back slightly.

"Why did you do that?"
He shrugs, "just gives me one more thing to talk about tonight." he walks off and I follow him, he continues you to talk, "For example... want to do it again?"
I nod.
