Chapter 35- Zayn's birthday

*flashforward to Jan. 12*
Lily's POV
After a really stressful first week back I was ready for a bit of partying. My teachers have been pushing us really hard for our finals coming up soon. I was exhausted from this week but I had to remember at Zayn's birthday that I can't go too hard. For one thing I have school the next day another my health prevents me from consuming too much alcohol.
I got ready for the party around that afternoon with Rose. She was going with Niall. We talked about her relationship because I truly believe she spent her free time sticking her tongue down Niall's throat. It's disgusting. I put on a pair of dark skinny jeans, a tight black tank top and a light blue cardigan. I grabbed my socks and boots and put them on and grabbed my purse and jacket. I put on some mascara and eyeshadow, now I was ready. I put on my jacket and went to meet Louis and Niall. Rose was wearing a tight little black dress with sequins on it. The dress was spaghetti strap and went to the mid thigh. I was sure she would freeze if she had to stand outside for any amount of time. She had a jacket on but other than that she had a pair of high heels and a clutch purse. Clearly she was hoping for some luck tonight. I found Louis' car right away and went to it. I was so glad I didn't wear what Rose picked out for me. It was practically a shirt it was so short. Rose even told me.. "When I wear it, it's a shirt but it'll fit as a dress on you." I looked at her then and chucked the dress-shirt back to her and picked out my own outfit.
Anyways, we got in the car and Niall's eyes practically popped out of his eye sockets at the sight of Rose. Louis starred at me and I suddenly felt self conscious. Knowing I didn't have much curve to work with on my slim body I tugged at my top hoping I looked alright. We drove to Zayn's house talking about random things and as we got closer, how drunk some people probably are already. Louis pulled up and parked by the apartment building. We got out and entered the building. The smell of sweat and alcohol was prominent even in the hallway. We entered Zayn's apartment and Harry, Liam and Zayn were drinking and I saw Perrie and Sophia eating some food and I saw a lot of other people I didn't know.
I went over to Perrie and Sophia thinking it would be safest. I was wrong. Before I could even get there Harry came over to me and hugged me. "Hey Lily!" He yelled.
"Harry, honey, how much have you had to drink?" I asked looking him in the eye.
"Um, a lot?" He slurred.
"That's enough booze for you" I said grabbing the beer from his hand.
"Hey!" He yelled as I handed it to Niall. Thank goodness Harry hadn't opened it yet. Niall took a big swig from it and went over to where the rest of the boys were. I continued going to Perrie and finally got there.
After several hours of talking and eating the cake was brought out. A big 21 was on top of a chocolate cake with vanilla icing. We sang happy birthday and cut the cake. It was really good. It was at around 11 PM when Louis stumbled towards me asking if we could go home. His apartment was upstairs so I hid his keys in a place he can find them tomorrow but is too drunk right now to see them.
I got a cab and went to my room where I walked in and saw that I was the only one here. I scrubbed off my makeup put on my pyjamas. I got ready for bed and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.
