How I met Louis Tomlinson

*flashforward to December 31*
Lily's POV
the rest of Christmas went by in a blur. We had dinner with Louis' grandparents. They were so sweet and I hope they liked me. On Boxing Day we all just stayed inside and all those days after that we didn't exactly do all that much. But now there's this New Years Eve party that practically everyone is going to. It was nearly time to go and I had on the perfect outfit. I had on a pair of dark skinny jeans a white T-shit and a grey-turquoise striped cardigan. I grabbed my purse and jacket and put on my boots and jacket. Louis was waiting for my in the car and I ran out and met him there. "So where is the party anyway Louis?" I asked as we started driving.
"it's at this pub downtown and some people rent it every year so then we can host a New Years party." He explained. I nodded my head as we entered the downtown area of Doncaster and Louis pulled up to a parking lot and parked the car.
"before we go in, Lou" I began.
"yes Lily" he asked grabbing me by the waist and going in for a kiss.
i put my hand on his chest to stop him. "Give me the keys" I said holding out my hand. He gave me an annoyed look and rummaged through his pockets and handed me the keys. "Good boy" I grinned and kissed him. I put the keys in my purse and Louis put his arm around me as we walked into the rather large pub. The pub was already starting to get packed. Looks like the party is as big a deal as Louis was saying. The place stunk of a mixture of sweat and alcohol. I didn't want to have a drink that's why I took the keys from Louis so then I could drive home for him. I asked for a water at the pub and I was careful to make sure nobody slipped me anything. I began to talk to a few people and we watched a football (soccer) game. I was having a great time and midnight was fast approaching. Louis grabbed my arm and we went on the dance floor. I could tell by his dance moves that he wasn't too intoxicated.
the music was suddenly cut and everyone was pissed "what the hell!?" I heard someone yell.
"guys it's a minute until midnight!" The pub owner screamed. The TV was switched to a news channel where they were counting down.
"10. 9. 8. 7. 6. 5. 4. 3. 2. 1!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!" Suddenly I was being dipped and kissed by Louis. We kissed long and passionately.
"happy new year" he grinned.
"happy new year" he brought me back up and we kissed again. Our first kiss of the year, the first kiss of 2014.
