How I met Louis Tomlinson

Lily's POV
*flash forward until Christmas Eve.*
its finally Christmas Eve and Louis birthday. I got him a birthday present and was going to give it to him that morning. I facetimed my brother Jay. He was in Italy back travelling across Europe with one of his high school friends. "hey pal" he smiled.
"hey buddy" I grinned.
"so.... How's your boyfriend?" He asked cheekily.
"he's not my boyfriend!" I whined. "He's just my friend."
"yeah a friend who brought you to his house to spend Christmas with him and his family." He said. I couldn't argue with him. I wished so badly that Louis could possibly be my boyfriend but it was never meant to be. "Wait a second.... I know that look. YOU LIKE HIM!" He yelled that last part.
"shut up dumb ass! His sisters will hear" I urgently whispered.
"why don't you tell him?" Jay asked.
"because... And I know for a fact I told you... He has a girlfriend." I sighed.
"oh riiiight!!" He drawled out the 'I'.
"yeeeaaah" I emphasized.
"anyways, listen sis, I only got a couple minutes left Xavier wants to get going to some lame museum." He began.
"I heard that!" I heard a distant yell from the phone that was the familiar voice of Jay's best friend Xavier.
"you were meant to" Jay replied. "As I was saying, I only have a few minutes left before I gotta bounce, I want you to be happy so just tell Louis how you feel about him." Jay said sincerely.
"I'll try Jay. And have some fun okay bring me something from Rome." I waved bye.
"bye love you" he said smiling.
"love you too" with that we hung up. With my brothers advice in mind I got out of bed and I look at my messy mop of hair. I showered last night and my hair looked horrendous. I quickly braided it and went downstairs. Louis was down and I made us some tea. We went to sit down when I drew out my present I got for him.
"Lily you shouldn't have!" He cried.
"it's the least I could do" I grinned as he ripped off the wrapping paper. His eyes widened as he saw what I got him. I knew he was without his favourite football jacket. So I found him a new leather Doncaster Rovers jacket.
"oh Lily! It's just what I wanted" he said putting it on. "Where did you get it?" He asked me
"I found it at this store that sells tourist stuff" I grinned.
"thank you" he said hugging me.
"it's no problem" I replied. We sat around for a while and then Louis' entire family came down and he got to open up his birthday presents. He got only a few things because it was Christmas tomorrow but he was still incredibly excited for the things he got. Johanna made chocolate chip pancakes for us all.
my families presents were shipped here and I got them that morning.

we spent most of the morning not doing to much but it was that night that things went awry wrong. I was helping to make supper and Louis was talking with us all. His phone start ringing and so he went outside. It had started to snow and Daisy and Phoebe were staring our in amazement. We could hear Louis speaking through the closed door. "Hey El, how's it-" he was cut off.
"baby I promise she's a friend. She can't get home for Christmas so you have nothing to worry abou-" he was cut off again.
"El.... Please no. Why!?" He cried he slammed his phone and sat down and had his head in his hands. He just sat there for a good half hour.
"I'm worried, what is that boy doing" Johanna said putting down her cutting knife. "Lily go out there." She said. I nodded and grabbed a blanket. I opened the door and I stood in the snow trying to compose my thoughts.
"Louis come on, you'll catch something." I said putting the blanket around his shoulders and sat down. He was sobbing.
"she dumped me..... I can't believe it, she, she was jealous about you being here and she dumped me." Louis said between sobs.
"Louis listen. If she's that jealous then she doesn't deserve you." I took a deep breathe. It's time, I have to tell him it's now or never. I thought to myself as I gathered my thoughts. "I have something to tell you Louis." I began.
"before you do I need to tell you something" he said. I tried to talk but he leaned in and kissed me. I was stunned at first but then I kissed him back. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms and my waist. He easily pulled me closer as we kissed in the falling snow. We pulled apart and I was flushed. "I've been wanting to do that since we met." He said and we kissed again. We pulled apart again and we both grinned.
"lets get inside" I said and we opened his back porch door and went in to the wonderful smell of food set on the table. We sat down and ate supper, excited for the next morning and soon we were all in bed and i fell asleep anticipation and sheer buzz from the day kept me up.
