How I met Louis Tomlinson

Niall's POV
after my talk with Louis I called Lily while I ran downstairs. "Morning sweetie" I said after she answered.
"morning Niall." She replied, okay Niall it's now or never ask her to meet you. I told myself.
"listen can we talk, in person." I said
"I was just about to ask you the same thing. Um meet me at the park near Cambridge?" She asked
"sure see you then" I replied and with that we hung up. I ran back into my apartment and grabbed my car keys and went to my car. I started driving to the park that I remembered so well. I took Lily on one of our first dates there. It was the middle of the night and I decided to be romantic and have a moonlit picnic with her.
*flashback*
"Niall where are we going?" She giggled. I was leading her to where I had the picnic set up. I had her blind folded.
"don't worry we're almost there" I reassured her. "Okay we are here, take off the blind fold" I said letting go of her shoulders. She gasped and turned to me with a huge grin on her face.
"oh Niall, it's beautiful, I love it!" She said hugging me.
"anything for you my princess" I said back and we started making out.
*flashback ended*
i took another deep breathe. I had to break up with her. Louis' right I can't just lead her on. I shook away any doubts I had. I just hope she won't be mad, she was a great friend and I didn't want to loose her forever. I finally got to the park and I could see her sitting on a bench. I got out of my car and zipped up my jacket. It was freezing outside, I didn't know how Lily wore such a thin jacket. "Hi sweetie" Lily said getting up and hugged me. "Sit down" she patted the seat next to her. I took a seat and faced her. "Niall I'm going to come right out and say it." She took a deep breathe and continued. "I just don't feel a spark. Dont get me wrong I love you but, only as a friend" she finished. All I could do was stare at her.

Lily's POV
i can't believe I just did that. I looked into his deep blue eyes. "Your breaking up with me?" He asked astonished. All I could do was nod for fear of tears breaking. "Because I was going to break up with you. I mean I just don't feel a spark between us. I was terrified you were going to get mad and I would loose an amazing friend!" He said he looked relieved I let out a sigh.
"listen let's not make it awkward, lets just stay friends" I said.
"I couldn't agree more" Niall said. With that we parted ways. I only started crying once I was sure he was in his car.
