Good or Bad

I wake up to the blaring of my alarm clock. Maddie must have brought me up here after last night. I look around and run my hands on my arms. I feel cold and hollow inside. I feel the sting of my cuts as I go over them with my hands. I feel the dull ache of bruises everywhere. Then I realize that it's Monday. Shit. I get up and wake up Maddie, who is passed out on the couch in my room since she was probably too worried about me to go to her own room. We quickly get dressed and run to catch the bus. We barely make it and we sit at the very back, in the spot that Harry usually sits in. We decided that it was time I stood up to his sorry ass.

"What are you doing in my spot, bitch?" I keep talking to Maddie as though I didn't hear him. We burst into a fit of loud giggles.

"Hey, sit down, Harry!" I hear the bus driver yell.

"This isn't over, bitch. I'll make you regret the day your momma pushed you outta her." He says menacingly in my ear. I roll my eyes at him and keep talking to Maddie. He sits in the seat next to us.

We get to school and see Dan and Phil near the entrance. We exchange hugs and get to class. Phil and I go to History. Its the only class I have with him and we try to enjoy it together. We get in and sit down. Ryan comes in to my surprise. He storms right up to me.

"You didn't show up to Starbucks yesterday. I looked like a complete prick, standing there alone!" I look up at him shockingly.

Phil decides to join in. "Uh, don't bother her, mate, she had a hard day yesterday." I look over at him with a look that screams shut up and beg him with my eyes to do just that.

"Wanna keep telling me what to do, queer?" Oh snap, this shit just got personal.

"DON'T YOU DARE TALK TO MY PHIL LIKE THAT, ASSHOLE. WE. ARE. OVER!" I scream in his face. He looks shocked then leaves the room.

"Lexi, principal's office." I now realized that cussed in front of Johnson and get a pass to leave. I sigh and walk in the halls. This day was already sucking.
