Adriana's pov

As I was trying not to stare at Marcel's emerald green eyes I saw Luke walk toward me.

Fuck.

Please walk faster Marcel.

Luckily for me he did. So I grabbed his hand, feeling sparks, and started running towards the door.

"Come on Marcel!" I laughed as he gave me a questioned look as he tried to catch up.

We passed Luke. Thank god. Then Marcel dropped me off at my locker and turned to go.

"Hey! Are you leaving me?" I teased him. He turned around bright pink.

"I didn't know you wanted me to stay..." He said as he had his hand on the back of his neck.

"Of course I want you to stay. I like talking to you, Marcel. By the way, do you always walk to school by yourself?" I asked as I stood up and closed my locker.

"Yeah. Always. Why do you ask?" He asked as we started walking to his locker.

"Um.. Well... Can I walk home with you today?" I asked turning red.

"That's not a problem, love. Just will you wait for me because after school I have drivers ed?" He said.

"Of course. But can I have your number so we can keep in touch?"

"Yeah. Here it is." He said and passed me his phone.
