Liam's pov
it had been a week since we had been attacked in Cheshire and we had already visited Doncaster to find no one around town or at Louis' parents home so we were on our way to Bradford (Zayn's hometown)
Harry and Lily's legs were both healing well and they could both walk properly now everyone's mood was at least a little better.
i was sitting next to Louis in the drivers cabin and according to him we were about 2 hours away from Bradford; hopefully there would be people there.
"Where do you think everyone has gone," i ask Louis.
"I don't know, anything could have happened to them but at the moment it me you the lads and the girls and Paul, and it look like it's staying that way," Louis replies. he sighs and we both go back to sitting in silence, thinking of something else to do.

as we drove up the empty road we spot movement to the right on one of the roads that leads towards London. Louis cautiously slows the bus down and we both try see what it was; at first we think it's an attacker but when we take a second glance we realise that it's a normal man accompanied by another man who looked like they were on the watch for attackers. Louis turns the bus and drives towards them and i go and tell the others what's happening.

i walk into the room and everyone looks at me. i tell them the news as the bus begins slow down to a stop. everyone stands up and puts their shoes on and we make our way outside Paul says he will remain on the bus and let them go on alone. as the doors open we see the two men standing in front of the doors, guns pointed straight at us. they slowly realise who we are and lower the guns and walk over to us, hands out stretched to greet us. we take their hands politely grateful that they were their.
"Are there more people as well?" Harry asks eagerly. the men nod in response.
"Yes most of the survivors from London and nearby towns are in London and there are guards on each entrance to keep them safe," The shorter one of the two replies.
"Brilliant," Louis says "and our houses are in London so we will be able to stay their safely," This news brought smiles to everyone's faces at the thought of being safer. The guards let us pass and we make our way towards our houses leaving Paul, the two men and the bus behind us.
