Chapter 14
Anna's Pov
When I woke, I noticed Harry was gone. I sighed shaking my head, before swinging my legs over the comfy mattress. I winced when my feet came in to the cold floor. I looked over at Jessica's bed to only notice she wasn't there. She's probably over at James flat. I grabbed my toelitries bag and rushed to the bathroom, I had a class today. Literature, one of my favorites. I like literature more than I like science. I did my normal amount of make-up which only consisted of mascara and a bit of eyeliner. I quickly but skillfully curled my hair. Once I was done, I trudged my way into my closet. I look through all the new clothes Jessica bought me. Which reminds me I really have to pay her back soon. I found a skirt and a sweater I really liked so I put it on. I strolled over to my mirror to take in my appearance. Once I took in my reflection, I was really happy. I looked half way decent. I guess it's because I actually tried today.
I grabbed the dorm keys and sauntered out of the dorm buildings. I continued walking, but decided to get cofee. It'll wake me up a bit, and I didn't get breakfast before I left. I walked into the University's local Starbucks and immedietly went straight for the line. I waited for a couple of minutes for it to be my turn to order, until someone tapped on my shoulder lightly. I slowly turned around, to be greeted with a smiling Justin.
"Hey Justin." I smiled.
"Hey Anna, you look beautiful." He grinned, making me blush and smile.
"Thanks Justin, you don't look to bad yourself," I complimented, walking a little forward after noticing someone just ordered their drink.
"Thanks, so what class are you having today?" He asked.
"Um, Literature why?" I asked furrowing my brows.
"Oh, I just wanted to walk you there." He smiled genuinely.
"Oh haha, okay." I laughed, I strided over to the counter so I could finally order.
"May I get a vanilla latte please?" I asked.
"Yes that'll be 3.47 ma'am." The kind cashier spoke.
"I'll pay." Justin announced handing the lady a five-dollar bill.
"No thanks, Justin-" I began before he cut me off.
"It's okay Anna."
I didn't wanna argue in the middle of the stor so I complied and sat down at one of the tables waiting for my drink. I had a few moments of silence before the cafe's chairs screeched, from getting pulled backward. I looked up to see it was Justin.
"You know you didn't have to pay," I explained to him. I was thankful and all, but I don't wanna be a bother to people like that.
"It's okay I wanted too." He chuckled, causing me to smile. I heard the barista call my name, so I muttered a quick goodbye to Justin and went to grab my drink. I flashed the barista a smile before vacating the cofee shop.
I walked down the corridors that finally led to my literature class. Once I made it, the professor smiled at me. I noticed I had this class with Jessica so I automatically sat next to her. After a couple of minutes, more students bgan to pile into the classroom. As soon as the professor began the lesson though, Harry roamed into room carrying a notebook and Polly trailing behind him. His hair was messy and his lips were swollen and he skirt was hitched up and you could see her panties if she bent down the slightest. You could obviously tell what they were doing minutes earlier.
"Dirty slut." Jessica coughed, causing Polly to glare at her.
I bit the inside of my cheek, to stop the tears from flowing. I knew the new Harry wasn't gonna last long. Harry strolled over and sat at the seat right behind me, with his girl following. I don't know why I'm getting so jealous. He probably doesn't like me anyway. For the rest of the time, I copied the notes till I felt a paper hit the back of my head. I stopped moving, and stopped taking notes. I heard Polly's obnixously loud giggles. I turned around to see Harry looking down and Polly laughing.
"Could you please stop," I asked nicely.
"Yeah, as soon as you stop being a slut and hooking up with my boyfriend." She scoffed.
"I'm not your boyfriend." Harry rolled his eyes.
She looked at him shocked, eyes widened, I started laughing lightly.
"Shut the fuck up skank, at least he can fuck me." She spat rolling her eyes, "I mean what do you think we were doing moments ago."
After that statement, I turned back around. I didn't want to deal with Harry or her. If he really wants his stupid reputation as a jerk he could keep it. I don't care anymore. He could keep his oversized ego and his pride. It's not like he was gonna give it up anyway.
"No wonder your square boyfriend broke up with you, slut." She giggled. After that, I couldn't take it anymore. I can't believe Harry told her. He knows I don't like her. Yet, he told her. I thought he actually changed but I guess that was a mistake. I grabbed my bag and the rest of my belongings and sauntered out of the room. as soon as I went into the hall way tears streamed down my face. She was right, my mom was right. No wonder Chase broke up with me, I am a slut.
"Anna," I heard Harry's name call out. I don't wanna talk to him, he's a liar and he's an ass. He is a jerk, he's just trouble. I knew he was from the moment I met him. Upon hearing my name falling from his lips, I walked as fast as my legs could carry me.
He grabbed my wrist pulling me towards him, "I didn't tell her, Anna.” He lied.
“Yes, you did. Don’t talk to me and let go of me.” I spat.
“Okay, it kinda slipped,-” I cut him off.
“I hate you, I wish I never met you. You always were and will always will be a jerk!” I spat as his expression filled with sadness. I instantly regretted saying it. I didn’t hate him I was just mad.
“I thought, you cared about me.” He mumbled, his grip on me loosening.
I pulled my wrist out of his hands and walked away from him.
