*Niall's POV*

I woke up to find Emily had gone back to camp, and I was back in the hammock at the campsite too. She had obviously carried me back on the stretcher. This girl is an angel. I sat up in the hammock and slipped on my boots, going to join the rest of the group, sat round the campfire whilst Emily cooked.

'Morning Nialler.. How are-erm.. You today?' Louis stuttered. I frowned, he never stutters like that.

'Good thanks Lou.. Are you alright?' I questioned.

'Fine thanks!' Louis continued to eat his breakfast. He was a lot happier now and things felt more natural. Emily hadn't spoken to me, so I got up and wrapped my arms around her waist.

'Well, gorgeous, why aren't you talking to me this morning?' She jumped as I wrapped my arms around her and then relaxed again.

'Sorry hun, I didn't sleep well last night..' Emily didn't look at me, so I planted a kiss on her cheek and sat down on the log. Everyone was in a weird mood and Harry was no where to be seen. No one was speaking and everyone was eating quietly.

After 5 minutes of silence, Emily grabbed my bowl and served up the breakfast (a sausage and an egg) but I noticed a difference to her face. She had put make up on. Only around her eye though. She then didn't eat and went to her hammock, obviously attempting to go to sleep. I was about to stop her, but Louis stopped me.

'Just leave her Nialler..' Louis started collecting the things to do the washing up.

'What happened to her face Lou?' I frowned, looking in the direction of where her hammock is, back to Lou, obviously concerned.

'I can't say.. I'm sorry..' Lou bit his lip and quickly finished the washing up. Something was wrong. Lou quickly disappeared and I was left on my own. I hadn't seen Liam or Harry or Caitlin all morning. Not that I was worried about Caitlin.

'LOU!' I ran after him. I wasn't going to be left out of the loop.


*Louis' POV*

I couldn't tell Niall what happened last night.

Flashback
'Niall's asleep now.' Emily said as she walked towards the main campsite. 'I need to talk to Harry. He can't just do that.'
'I don't think that's a good idea..' I warned, '..If he can punch Niall, he will punch you without thinking about it.' I bit my lip, hoping she wouldn't risk it.
'Lou, I have to do it.' Emily walked off and found Harry.
I waited. I couldn't hear anything but the murmur of voices. They quietened down and then increased near to a shout, until someone shh'ed and they quietened down again. I heard a growl like sound and then I heard what I thought was a girl like scream. Not a full scream but a half-muffled scream.
About 5 minutes later, Emily walks back towards the campsite, tears streaming down her face and what looked like a black eye beginning to form.
I run and hug her tightly. Harry is an animal..
Flashback over

Niall started to run after me. I tried to hide but he always finds me. Damn our similar thinking. I sighed and turned to him.

'Niall, I can't tell you!' I sighed and Niall put his hands on my shoulders.

'Please Lou.. I need to know.' I sighed and we sat on the floor, in that exact spot and I reluctantly explained the whole story to him.


*Niall's POV*

So Emily went and defended me and Harry gave her a black eye.
I can't believe it!
