Julie’s P.O.V
I walked back into the room; both my parents are at work so I had to ask all the doctors the questions. A nurse came in to switch his water bag “Um, have you’ve heard anything from the doctors” She looked over at me with a sympathy expression “No, I’m sorry…..all I know is that his vitals are good and his heart beat is steady…I’m sorry”

“No, no it’s okay….thanks anyway” she walked out the door; I looked at her with hate in my face….I think she could have at least acknowledged to find out more. I sat down in the chair next to him, I stared at his hands…….I didn’t want to touch them.

They were cold.

They had no movement.

And they had no color.

I stood up and drew back the covers far enough for me to climb in bed next to him, I laid my head on his chest; I could hear his heart beat beating against my ear.

I laid there gazing off into the window, watching a rain drop fall slowly down the window and crash into another rain drop till they were two times bigger than they were on their own. That’s me and Harry were two times bigger when were together than on our own, I didn’t know what the hell I was talking about but at least I fell asleep……finally!!

Harry’s P.O.V
I laid there still not able to move, this kills me…..it feels like I’m alive on the inside but my body is dead on the outside. I stop trying to move or wake up a long time ago, what if I don’t wake up? What if my beautiful girlfriend forgets about me? Find somebody else, to hold her? To kiss her? To tell her everything’s going to be okay?

No, no Harry you’re going to wake up soon and be in the arms of-

My thoughts were interrupted by this small pressure leaning up against my chest, I couldn’t tell who it was but it made me feel safe. I don’t know how? I’m supposed to be the man! I’m supposed to make other people feel safe! But, just the thought of someone actually here, watching over me…..made me feel real safe.

Suddenly I hear a faint snore, what!!!? It was Julie!!! I know that snore from anywhere; I’ve woken up to that snore a million times.

Julie!! I’m here I’m right here love just know I’m here.

C’mon move you stupid arms….hold her….hold her tight C’mon. I just stopped, I gave up……I can’t fight this anymore maybe she should just move on and forget about me.

She’ll find a more attractive guy that will give her what she wants without having to go through misery and pain; she’ll have beautiful kids that will grow up to be just like her. But aye! At least I taught her how to love.

I basically slipped into a nap, it’s not like I can close my eyes.

*Napping*
“Harry can you grab the diaper bag and her Sippy cup?”

“Yeah, sure babe” I got up from the computer and head over to grab her bag from the hallway closet and the Sippy cup from the refrigerator, I handed it back to Julie.
“Thanks babe you’re a doll” I leaned down and kissed her and Darcy on the head before returning to the computer.

“Babe, I’m going to put Darcy down, I’ll be back”

“Okay” I stood there typing furiously on the computer….I didn’t know where I was, I tried to walk around to look at everything but…..I couldn’t control my body it was like a play and I was the audience, I was there to watch not touch.

I got up from the computer and walked up stairs; the house that we I guess lived in was huge. It was like a house off of hallmark or something it was really snazzy. I turned into our bedroom and saw Julie rocking Darcy in the rocking chair softly humming to her; I stood there leaning against the door frame I watched her as she carefully placed Darcy in the crib. Then she walked slowly over to me with this look in her eye like she wanted to rip my clothes off and take advantage of me

She wrapped her arms around my neck as she leaned in.

Julie’s P.O.V
I slowly woke back up, my eyes were closed but I can still hear. I wasn’t in a rush to wake up and repeat what I do every day, which is sit down next to Harry, worry, worry, worry some more until I cry myself to sleep. I stopped my train of thought to pay attention to my surroundings, I heard the TV maybe my parents were here….I didn’t want to act like I was asleep so I opened my eyes slowly.

I didn’t see anything.

The seat was the same way I left it, but the room was little bit warmer or was it Harry’s body?
I was confused but nothing could top how I felt when I heard Harry giggle, I felt his voice vibrate through his body to my ear. I popped my head up from his chest and looked at him, he was awake!.....oh god that you Jesus he was awake!!

“Whoa love, sorry I woke yeh” I hugged him tightly.

“You stupid jerk, don’t ever leave me alone like that” I straddled his legs.

“Whoa slow it down babe, I’m still sore”

“I love, I love you….I love you, I love you so much”

“I love…you too, I’m sorry for leaving you like this”

“No, no It was me it’s all my fault forgive me”

He reached up and grabbed my face and looked me deep into the eyes “I don’t want one day to go by with you thinking that this was your fault, Jules I will always fight for you, I will always take a bullet for you, I would even die for you! I love you” He leaned in and placed a sweet kiss on my forehead.
